We have a conversion event that occurs before certain user properties are set, but we need to segment these conversion events by demographic properties that are collected later in the user journey.

Specifically, users convert before we collect demographic data like [age, location, etc.], but we want to understand which demographic segments are converting from which acquisition sources. 

We've tried looking at user property settings in Amplitude but haven't found a way to retroactively apply properties to earlier events.

Is there a way to segment historical events by user properties that were set after those events occurred? Or would we need to modify our tracking implementation to capture this data differently?
