Events per user

I am trying to find how many times a particular event has been fired by a user. By user – the average user, the median, top 5 percentile for that event (to find the power user for that feature/event).

How can I solve this?

The objective is to find how much success that event has received.

Hey @Impending

In you event segmentation chart, there are several ready to use metrics which you can chart on your selected event.

Custom Formulas can also be used for these metrics plus some other advanced one like frequency percentile.

Hope this helps.

Thanks much. This is helpful.

Can you by any chance help with a sample link to a segmentation chart?

Sure, here’s a demo chart which charts the daily average # of Follow Playlist events per active user - https://app.amplitude.com/analytics/demo/chart/new/j59t32gn

Thank you. Is it possible to have the X axis for number of users instead of time? e.g.

0-50 users 1000 occurrences of PlayedSong event

50-100 users 2300 occurrences of PlayedSong event

Etc.?

Probably something like this with the Frequency metric - https://app.amplitude.com/analytics/demo/chart/new/xucdn2n7
