Question

Where can I see events collected from BigQuery?

Hi!

Our team created a BigQuery source and set it as an Event data (filled in mandatory props like device_id, user_id, event_type etc.), but I’m not sure where to find where to actually see the event log!

So far, we’ve set SQL query (and it works), set Type of Data as ‘Event’, and set Type of Import as ‘Time Based’. However, there are zero events that are ingested (0 delivered total) although I do see a log of JSON GZ files being successfully sent.

  1. After setting up the source as explained above, is there additional step we need to do in order to actually start cumulating the event log?
  2. Once that’s set up, where would I be able to view the log on Amplitude?
  3. If I can see it as a regular Event, is the event_type we set in the query structure going to be the name of the event?

Thank you for your help in advance!

Seems like the issue everyone else is facing w.r.t. BigQuery ingestion
