the sum of property values incorrect

Why is the result of using the sum of property values incorrect? Even though I can see non-zero values in the user segmentation, they are displayed as zero in the analysis.

Looking at the event counts alone, everything appears to be normal.

Additionally, this also leads to incorrect calculations when I try to compute the monthly grand total.

Hey @wilson li . Your “pay” event property, is it passed into Amplitude as a number and is the variable set to a type of “Number”? If it’s passed in/ set to a string, then I suspect this could be why you see zero for the propsum.

Hi @wilson li I wasn’t able to load your original chart URLs, but for the month of Jan 2021, for

User ID 王贝晨

I was able to see the 3,280 sum pay amount in this chart edit. I wonder if your original chart had factored in any additional user segmentation that might have filtered out this user?

For your second question on monthly pay sums, do you know how that Month property is instrumented or derived? Please take a look at the sum of pay in this event segmentation monthly chart edit and let me know if those monthly sum values align to your expectation for the order_pay event.
