How to know the last page user visit before they visit a certain page view if there's no ?ref added to the page view URL?

If you are using our JS SDK, you can track the referrer easily with this instruction: https://developers.amplitude.com/docs/javascript#track-referrers.
If your project data currently do not have any referrer information and you want to see the previous page before a certain page view, then it depends on your data structure. Do you have one page view event and different URLs as properties values? If yes, you can build a funnel analysis with “exact order”, use the page view event as step 1 and a certain page view as step 2, and then break down by step 1 with the property that contains URLs.
