Hello fellow Datamonsters!

The Search tab feature is a really handy feature in discovering the artifacts/saved objects created by your Amplitude users. One of the features in this is filtering the charts by owner name under the ‘Filter by'  → ‘Owner’ section .

Every user has a user name and an avatar, which can be found in any of the workspaces and on the right side on the header of the charts/cohorts/dashboards owned by a user.

A nifty little hack I discovered about this - both the name and avatar are hyperlinked in the UI. Clicking on either of them automatically opens the Search tab with that user's saved objects filtered in the Search view. Pretty neat. ⚡

For more on the Search feature you can refer to the doc here.

Thanks, @Saish Redkar! Not sure if it’s just me but the link you provided reloads this page rather than an external link.

Hey @brian.abad,

Thanks for catching that. I might have mistyped the link in there.

Looks like editing a topic/comment is disabled, but here’s the link which I meant to share for the Search feature -  https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/236051328
