Is there a way to compare more than one timeframe on charts? for example, compare today's sales with yesterday, a week ago, and a month ago on the same graph.

Hello Vitorr !

Unfortunately, I do not know if there is a way to compare them all at once on the same chart (as the “Compare to past” option only allows you to compare today’s sales with one of those timeframes’ sales).

The two alternatives to answer your needs would be :

  • To create a dashboard with several similar graphs gathering data from the different timeframes you’re interested in, so that you can compare them simply by glancing at your graphs and their KPIs or table figures.

  • To use Adam Greco’s Amplitude Google Sheets Add-On. It would allow you to import charts or cohorts (for instance populations that bought you product today, yesterday, a month ago...) directly to a Google Sheets doc. That way, you can manually create a table that extract the data you’re interested in from your charts and cohorts. You would only have to “update” those implemented data directly in Google Sheets by simply clicking on an update buttonfrom the add-on. It is really practical and easy to use.

I would personnaly go for the add-on solution, even though the table and charts you would create would be in Google Sheets and not directly in Amplitude.

Have a nice day and good luck !
