Could you help use with the OS field issue? We are using Segment that sends data to the Amplitude. All of our users are using only Web. What we get is the OS field has in its value operational system of the web device, for example to Mac OS 117 or Windows 118. I would find it correct but according to the docs, OS field is supposed to be the name of the user's mobile operating system or browser. As I understand it should be the browser in our case because there is not traffic from the mobile.
What can be the issue? How can we get the browser version? Ideally, we want to know the browser, its version, OS, and its version. Is there a way to achieve this? The data that Segments collects is correct. It sends User agent and User agent data when possible.
Also, what is the reason for OS being two different things, like "ios 9.1" or "Chrome 46"? It’s confusing. And moreover, with this setup, we don’t have a full picture.
