Hiding data from old products using a global project user property filter
We used the same Amplitude project and event names for lots of international markets so that it’s easy to compare one market to another in the same chart. Now that some of the markets are closed, is it possible to make a global change to our project so that all old events from a closed market no longer appear?
Today, we usually add the same User Property filter to all charts in order to exclude that market: User Property: app_name ≠ {tim_fun}
...and when we forget to add it, it looks like our DAUs dropped.
Thanks for your ideas.

Hey @Anthony which plan is your org on?
Drop filters enable an org to remove all event data that meet specific conditions, such as when the app_name = {tim_fun}
Alternatively, if your org doesn’t have access to this feature, there is a save segment feature that enables an org to save user segments and set them as default to all new charts moving forward. This resolves the pain point of having to remember to apply the filter to all new charts, and by default is applied to new charts.

Thanks. That sounds like exactly what I was trying to do!
I saved my drop filter.
For some reason, I’m still seeing them in the charts though.
