Hi All,

The current HTTP api want’s you to send events.

Can amplitude ask the data from my server api, scheduled / on opening widget.

Hey @akhirai560

I’m not sure if I fully understood your question here, but looks like you are trying to see a way for Amplitude to fetch data from your internal API endpoint at scheduled intervals?

I don’t think this is possible currently and you can only post your events to the HTTP API or the Batch Event Upload API.

The closest thing to scheduling a data import to Amplitude will be to ingest it from a preferred event data warehouse ( S3/GCS/Snowflake) .

Let me know if I have understood your use case correctly. Hope this helps.

Hi @akhirai560 ,

Thanks for writing in! I agree with @Saish Redkar here, you can only send events with the HTTP API and Batch API. I assume you are trying to see if Amplitude can request and pull data from your server automatically which we do not have. You could set up some scripts to send the data from your server with the Batch API but this would require some custom coding.

I hope that helps!

Kind Regards,

Denis
