Can I remove custom user property for all users?

I'd like to remove or clear certain property for all users custom property,

It looks like this API does that, but it keeps responding with 404 not found.

Is there any other way to remove custom property from API / SDK or web console?

I understand you're trying to remove a custom user property for all users via the Amplitude API, but the endpoint is returning a 404 error.
The **Taxonomy API** is available to **Enterprise plan** customers only. For accounts that don’t qualify, requests return a 404 “Not found” response by design. This is expected behavior.

However, I can offer some alternative methods to achieve your goal.

Programmatic remove per user (API/SDK): Use an **Identify ($identify)** call and **$unset** the property. This clears the property on that user’s profile. There isn’t a single “clear for everyone” API; you’d send $identify for each impacted user. The HTTP V2 API supports `$unset` in `user_properties` when `event_type` is `$identify`.

- Warehouse-synced attributes (Profiles): If you’re using **Profiles**, removing values in your **data warehouse** will clear them in Amplitude on the next sync. You can also use Data to remove unused property fields from users. This is often the most efficient option if your user traits are warehouse-sourced.

- Hide or stop data in the UI:
- **Delete** the user property in Data (Plan) to prevent future ingestion and remove it from chart dropdowns. Note: deleting in Plan does not retroactively remove the property from historical events or user streams; those still appear in historical data.
- Use **Drop Filters** to exclude bad data from charts (non-destructive, can be reversed), or **Block Filters** to stop future ingestion of specific events/properties (destructive for future data). Choose based on whether you want to hide vs. permanently block.
