Enjoy new Datepicker features
Ch-ch-ch changes! Amplitude’s datepicker is new and improved with a ton of exciting features and usability fixes, including…
- ❎ Exclude days – Exclude specific days of the week and weekends (available for our top charts).
- 🗓️ X to Date – Select 'This Year / This Quarter / This Month / This week' from the dropdowns.
- 💾 Date Presets – Save datepicker settings as presets for future use and recall commonly used analysis windows with a single click (for example: "last 12 days, offset by 2 with a timezone of New York.”) Presets can be created at the user or app level, making it easy to standardize analysis windows across your organization.
- 🧑💻 Date Preset Default – Set Date presets to 'App' or 'User' defaults, so that when you create a new chart it will apply it automatically. User presets supersede app presets, and if no default presets are set; it will use the current defaults.
- 🔮Future Dates – Select dates in the future to preplan your analysis. For example, you can set up a chart before you go on vacation to track next month's projected revenue.
- 🛍️ Retail Calendars – Set app-level 'retail calendars' to align the start and end of months with holidays or seasons to better handle accounting and planning.
🔓 Access this feature via Charts and Hubs, including the Product Analytics Hub and Marketing Analytics Hub.

Currency Conversion now available for Revenue Analysis
We’re excited to share that Currency Conversion is now available! This update automatically converts transaction data across multiple currencies based on daily exchange rates and on a mastery currency set at the project level. This eliminates the need for manual conversion and ensures you have the most accurate reporting in real time.
⭐ ️Availability: Currency Conversion and Derived Properties are now available on Enterprise, Growth, and Scholarship plans.

Create categories and date ranges for Annotations
This month we made two big usability improvements to Annotations, including:
- 🎛️ Categories: Users can now create categories, assign annotations to categories, or choose which categories are visible/hidden by default on charts. Bonus points? You can now customize category visibility on a per-chart basis.
- 🕟 Hourly and range support: Set an end date to specify if an annotation spans multiple days. For annotating hourly charts, you can now specify exact hours.
🔓 Access Categories via the Manage Annotations tab under Project Settings.
⭐ ️Availability: Starter, Plus, Growth, and Enterprise customers.
New Session Replay releases

Save Filters in Session Replay
Good news – you can now save and share filters in Session Replay! Simply configure your favorite set of filters once and then reuse or share them with your team. This feature enables power users to curate and share views, making it easier for everyone in the organization to find the sessions that matter most.
🔓 Access this feature via Session Replay > filter > press save on the righthand side of the screen.

Introducing: Heatmap Thumbnails
This month, we released an intuitive gallery for the Heatmaps page that displays colorful previews of your heatmaps! For Heatmaps without previews, you’ll see placeholder images instead. (And don’t worry, if you prefer the previous table view, you can toggle back with the dropdown.)

Admin-created Templates
Administrators can now create custom Guides and Surveys templates for their teams. New Data & Activation releases
Get trusted data to power insight about your product. Amplitude helps you proactively manage and govern your data.
Introducing: Device Category: a new, out-of-the-box (OOTB) derived property
We’re thrilled to introduce Device Category, a new out-of-the-box (OOTB) derived property that automatically classifies user traffic by Desktop, Mobile, Tablet, TV/Console, and Other. This unlocks powerful data to help your team optimize product experiences and meet your users on their device of choice.
Bonus points? This Autocapture enhancement is hard-coded into Taxonomy Management Service and requires no additional setup for new or existing users – just deeper insights, right out of the box!
🔓 Access this feature via Data > Properties > Derived > Device Category.

Derived Properties now available for Growth customers
Good news Growth customers, Derived Properties are now yours! If you’ve ever wanted to run analyses based on properties that weren't sent to Amplitude, derived properties allows you to create new event and user properties retroactively, based on functions and operators that you can apply across multiple existing properties. Bonus points? These don't affect your raw data and Amplitude computes them on the fly!
🔓 Access this feature via Data > Properties > Derived
⭐ ️Availability: Enterprise, Growth, and Scholarship
Enjoy Event Level Property Deletion (ELPD)
Ready for a new level of data clean-up? Event-level property deletion now allows users to remove properties from specific events while keeping them active on others.
Previously, when a property was sent to multiple events, there was no way to remove it from individual events later down the line. A property that was sent accidentally or needed to be deprecated on a specific event couldn't be cleaned up. With this feature, you can say goodbye to those frustrations and hello to clean data!
🔓 Access via Data Product > Events Page > Select an Event > Details tab > Properties.
⭐ ️Availability: All customers on all plans.
Improve cohort syncing with anonymous user mapping for Braze
Ready for faster match rates during Braze cohort syncing? As of this month, Amplitude now supports multiple mapping properties in priority order. Simply set a primary and secondary mapping; From there, Amplitude defaults to the primary property for syncing (and falls back to the secondary if the primary is missing.)
This update improves sync coverage, reduces dropped users and silent failures, unlocks broader activation use cases, and offers more reliable engagement downstream.
⭐ ️Availability: All customers on all plans.

The new HubSpot one-click installation feature offers a seamless integration experience between Amplitude and HubSpot CMS. Marketers and builders using HubSpot can now set up Amplitude tracking directly from the HubSpot CMS tile within the Amplitude Source catalog, eliminating the need for manual tracking code implementation and complex configurations. This makes it easier to start capturing product data and access behavioral insights without the technical barriers.

Introducing: Integration Portal
The integration portal is a place where users can create their own integrations (like event streaming or cohort syncing) and have it accessed by other organizations. This feature makes it faster to connect Amplitude to other platforms in your data ecosystem, driving greater adoption and usage.
The best part? The portal streamlines integration creation, enforces quality through rigorous testing, and enables internal releases without requiring manual review. Beyond this, it enhances discoverability through a public catalog accessible to other organizations, empowering teams to build more personalized integrations.
🔓 Access this feature via Organization Settings > Integration Portal.

Updates to User Timeline
The enhanced User Timeline makes it easier and faster to explore individual user journeys. These changes help users quickly find critical behavior insights and support better campaign targeting and analysis.

Get Flag change alerts
Having trouble staying on top of your flags and experiments? Not anymore! Now, users can get automatic notifications about changes to their flags and experiments .
The two main notification types are:
- 📧 Email / Slack direct: Sends notifications for Experiments (Web and Feature) about to start or end, if a sample-ratio mismatch (SRM) is detected, or a statsig for a recommendation metric reached.
- 🔔Slack channel notifications / webhooks: Sends notifications for any changes to an active flag configuration that generates a new history version or when flags are activated or deactivated.
This feature is especially useful for auditing purposes and tracking down which flag rollout could have introduced bugs to your experience.
🔓 Access this feature via Settings > Organization settings > Experiment > Add alert.
⭐ ️Availability: All customers on all plans. (Note: You must have Member permissions to create/edit/delete any notification alerts.)

Rearrange Elements in Visual Editor
If you’ve been waiting for a drag-and-drop experience in Web Experiment, this update’s for you! Our Visual Experiment Editor now allows users to ‘rearrange elements.’ This empowers Web PMs and Growth teams building variants to simply point, click, and move components to different parts of the page – no code or engineering help required!
🔓 Access this feature via the Visual Editor in Web Experiments.

Group Cohort Targeting for Remote Evaluation
Good news! Amplitude now supports targeting Group Cohorts in Feature Flags and Experiments with Remote Evaluation. Though Group Cohorts have long been supported for Local Evaluation, Remote Evaluation lacked this capability due to the absence of Group Cohort Sync support. With this update, users can now sync Group Cohorts up to 2M members in ~4 minutes!
