Current Alert customization options lack flexibility for different use cases

Having the possibility to change confidence intervals on Alerts would be better fit for different use cases.

Hi Matias,

Thank you for your feedback. Currently, when setting up a custom alert in Amplitude, you can choose to receive alerts when significance thresholds of 95%, 98%, or 99% are breached. These confidence intervals are determined by taking your historical data and identifying where 95%, 98%, and 99% of all data points fall. The higher the required significance, the less 'noisy' your alerts will be.

However, I understand that you're looking for more flexibility in setting the confidence intervals for alerts. While this is not currently possible, your feedback is valuable and I encourage you to submit a feature request directly to our Product team. You can do this via the help button at the top right corner of the UI (question mark icon) > Submit Feedback. Please share as much information as possible about your use case and how you visualize the feature. A detailed description would help our Product team better understand the importance of the request.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions!

Best,
Thao
