I set up the Amplitude Destination in Segment - why am I not seeing any data in Amplitude?

  • Amplitude’s Best Practices: 

    • Segment customers / prospects must send data to Amplitude by calling “track”. Data will be visible after they track their first event.

    • For Segment customers who are used to different naming conventions, the difference between an event property and user property is simply that Amplitude allows Segment customers to specify their own event properties and user properties.
