I am looking into users that are having multiple device ids on amplitude (in some cases over 70 different device ids). These users all have only 1 device according to our server and database.
I read that this can be caused by users exploring in incognito mode. But we have a mobile app, and I don’t think it is possible to open a mobile application in incognito mode.
This happens on both iOS and Android operating systems.
Are there usage patterns that are known to cause this unusual behaviour?
