I’m looking at some funnels grouped by device family and I’m seeing a value of ‘K’ for a good percent of them (~20ish). Not sure what’s going on or how to debug.
We’ve seen this “K” value too…given we still have Google Analytics running, we’ve been able to cross-check against that and it appears that it’s an Android mobile device (in GA it presents as the “Wiko K-KOOL”).https://medium.com/@gustavo_oshiro_3/device-wiko-k-kool-appearing-on-google-analytics-ua-5ab6b4673773
Hi Taj Sangha
Is this the default '[Amplitude] Device family' user property that is captured by your instrumented SDK?
As per this post, the '[Amplitude] Device family' and '[Amplitude] Device type' values are based on a custom mapping that they do on encountering new devices. These might not be added to the existing mappings.
Also, can you try creating an event seg chart for Any Event grouped by device type and OS and filtered on Device Family = ‘K’? This will help to breakdown what possible combinations are being captured and help in further debugging.
Thanks for sharing the article, Dan!
All my data is being collected through Firebase I want to export all this data in Amplitude and keep it synced with GA4, I tried adding data sources as BigQuery and GA4 both but for some reason it only partially imported the data and now its not working, I cant even see connected sources. Any help will be appreciated.
Auto Capture is a very prominent feature for the Browser SDK and the Native SDK's i.e. the IOS and the Android SDKs. It allows us to capture the basic [Amplitude] events like Button clicks, Navigation to pages, Pages Viewed, etc. The project that I am currently working on already has a web version on which we use the…
How do I transfer data from one amplitude account to another? It seems all the community chats about this have completely broken links. Easy to export, no way to import, very frustrating. :(
When using @amplitude/plugin-web-vitals-browser with Create React App v4 (react-scripts@4.0.3), the build fails with: ./node_modules/@amplitude/plugin-web-vitals-browser/node_modules/web-vitals/dist/web-vitals.js<br /><br />SyntaxError:…
Hello, I'm using SpringBoot and Kotlin to integrate with the Amplitude Export API. The official Amplitude documentation (https://amplitude.com/docs/apis/analytics/export) states that "data is available to export at a minimum within 2 hours of when the servers received it." However, there's no clear information about the…
