Ready to go to the dark side? Amplitude now supports theme preferences in light mode, dark mode, and a systems setting mode that matches your computer's system preferences. Simply head over to your settings and select theme preferences to get started.

Reduce alerts for custom monitors

In order to reduce noisy alerts, Amplitude can now show users the estimated number of alerts when creating a monitor. Bonus points? You can use preview mode to view and edit all conditions, rather than one at a time.

New Data releases
New updates for imports, syncs, and debugging

Get trusted data to power insight about your product. Amplitude Data helps you proactively manage and govern your data.

Migrate your data from Mixpanel
Ready to transition from Mixpanel to Amplitude? We’re thrilled to introduce a new Mixpanel data source tile that streamlines the process for teams like yours.

With our step-by-step guide, organizations can quickly start gleaning insights from their Mixpanel data right in Amplitude. Even better? Our professional services team has built out a handy implementation guide with additional tips to manage your taxonomy, instrumentation, mapping, as well as industry-specific use cases.

This feature is available to all customers within the Data Catalog.

Next-gen Analytics SDK now available for iOS

Ready for the latest and greatest for iOS? Amplitude’s newest SDK is built using our "next-gen" architecture, which provides a common interface with other platforms, new features such as Plugins, performance enhancements, and other improvements.

Learn more in our developer docs.

Enjoy CSV Import and Export Improvements

With our latest batch of CSV import and export improvements, you can now easily set up and make bulk changes to user properties.

To access this feature, look for the import and export buttons on the top right of the User Property section in Amplitude.

Get weekly updates from Data Assistant right to your inbox

You’ve got mail! Starting this month, Amplitude users can subscribe to weekly updates about their projects, complete with suggestions from Data Assistant about improving data clarity and consistency across projects. This email also contains essential stats, like how many new event types were added from the previous week.

Access this feature under Organization Settings > Notifications > "Updates about my projects" in Amplitude.

Import GA4 data into Amplitude 4Beta]

Interested in using data from Google Analytics 4? This one’s for you!

In November, we introduced a new GA4 import feature via BigQuery on the Amplitude catalog page. For interested users, please note: This new offering is currently in Beta and may require initial guidance from our engineers to ensure a smooth experience.

Surface errors with Data Warehouse Export

In the past, Amplitude users could only see the status, time stamps, and job ID in the Destinations UI. Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve added an Errors column to offer more visibility and information to help you debug.

With this new feature, users can click on an error and quickly see details like the error type, time, and message. All Amplitude customers who are using – and will use– Data Warehouse Export are able to see this in their Automatic Exports tab.

Sync cohorts faster with personalization

This month we made several improvements to Cohorts to help streamline the syncing process. On top of reducing the number of syncing steps from 11 to 3, we’re also…

  • Adding row level syncs and archive actions to the cohorts table
  • Showing frequently used destinations and pre-selecting the most used API targets and cadence options for each user
  • Enabling syncing in the background so users can initiate multiple syncs without having to wait for each one to be successful
  • And, adding support for opening cohorts in a new tab via right click

To access this feature go to Cohorts >View Cohort > Sync
OR from Chart > Microscope > Create cohort > Save

This feature is not available in the EU Data Center at this time.

New Experiment releases
Re-imagined UX, editing capabilities

Drive faster action from crystal clear test results. Amplitude Experiment helps you test, analyze, and optimize your product experiences at scale.

Scale experiment programs with new UX

zebD1OXm10dL89jrkf36jvgW6AcNeKg1OsWE079IEaJrr2lTl45glpdK3_OrF_hqyD63gcyrtur9DYeDdamDzimw5RKAJF9SMUlCyh0G0JMF_cUQJFsTnXPZfCH9Kd74WU1_RzJHjdhwfjb3ljnYlwY

Building and designing experiments in Amplitude just got better! With a new, guided UX, teams can start scaling world-class testing programs – no matter their experience level.

For teams who may have struggled with the tab-based design or implementing best practices, the reimagined UX is built on a checklist-based system to ensure every experiment is 10X easier to set up, get started, and learn at scale.

This new version offers teams the in-product guidance they need to get value, fast. No more design or implementation errors, just increased time to value for every team running experiments.

Edit experiment Flag Keys

In the past, Experiment users were often blocked from starting new tests because they needed help from engineering teams to define the flag key. This obstacle further slowed down testing progress as the flag keys were not editable after they were created.

Now, that all changes with our editable flag key! Users can now alter flag keys until they become an active flag or experiment. This provides new flexibility to start designing before engineering has to get involved. Note: any flag or experiment created before this update will not have editable keys.

You’re all caught up! Here’s what’s next…

Should the CTA to enroll in “weekly updates from Data Assistant” already be visible?  It’s not obvious (at least to me).

Hi @michael.kuhl, you can access the the email update under Organization Settings > Notifications > "Updates about my projects". Thanks
