Amplitude is creating many session IDs for a timeline smaller than 30 minutes, breaking the events history into many incorrect sessions. This is distorting my session reports. Does anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions? (I’m using Amplitude SDK to track a website.) See this example: One minute later, the next…
In Segment, I have two JS sources for our Test and Production environments. And the respective destinations to Amplitude Actions. Both destinations share the same configuration. Nevertheless, I see sessions in the Test environment but not in the Production environment. * Page calls & Track calls Mappings for Session ID in…
I want to build a funnel chart analysis restricted to whether it's the first time a user has seen an event within a session, and then a comparative analysis where it's not the first time a user has seen an event within a session. As an example to illustrate what I'm trying to achieve: My current analysis looks at a user…
Hello Everyone, I am experiencing this weird while defining the session, it’s only allowing me to define the property for grouping the session but not the start / end event or timeout minutes While I was on the free plan I changed the definition to timeout after 15mins, it was working fine but I have applied for…
Similar to the distribution of session length in the User Sessions graph, I would like to have a distribution of (number of) user sessions per user that shows the same kind of histogram. e.g 1 Session - 2.000 users 2 Sessions - 5.000 users 3+ Sessions - 10.000 users Is this possible in Amplitude? I did not find such an…
I have a collection of events associated with session_id. However, when selecting the UserSessions tab, no sessions are displayed. I have attempted to view both events performed within sessions and standalone sessions.
I have stumbled with cases like this, in which a user has sessions spanning for several days. Plus, the timestamp for some of the events of a given session don’t match with te day on the left pane. This is making difficult to measure session length properly. Has this ever happened to anyone?
Is there a way to establish an API call that pulls data from the user that consists of their: * Event stream * Grouped by session ID * Each event with: * Event name * Start time We’re looking to analyze the different sessions a user has, mostly focused on the start time of the session and the duration that it lasts.
Hey, I recently upgraded to a paid account and am trying to do some analysis with the Pathfinder report to understand various custom journeys on our website. I had to reconfigure our Segment in order for it to properly track session IDs in Amplitude which is now done. The source that collects our ecommerce events from…
Hello all 😄 I wanted to raise a question regarding session IDs and their use in Amplitude Analytics. We have found (through searching for specific session IDs in Amplitude Analytics) that Amplitude adds on an extra three zeroes to our existing session IDs, which initially caused some confusion while searching for said IDs.…
