As an Amplitude admin and data governor for an organization with dozens of apps there are certain event and group properties for which I need to maintain consistency across dozens of projects. Just as there is a User Properties taxonomy API method, a Group Properties taxonomy API method would provide a way to automate…
It would be really useful if you would enable categorization of user and group properties in the same manner as we can for the events. That would help us easily navigate through the dozens of product-specific user properties. We are offering all of our products withing one web app and all of them are sharing some of the…
Wondering what is the best practice for property names and if there are advantages to normalizing them across events. For example, imagine I have Event Foo and Event Bar. Foo is an event involving a product and say Bar is an event involving a category. Which is the best course of action in data modeling in Amplitude:…
Hi there, I'm a small startup marketing manager. We're using Amplified recently and there are still a lot of things that I don't know. Is there a good way to find common points of customers who purchase our services using Amplified? For example, how to see at a glance what customers who have made a purchase unconditionally…
I’m looking for an automated way to duplicate group properties across projects. I see a User Property taxonomy API that provides the functionality to automate user property creation, but not one for groups. Am I missing it?
Hey community, I am using the Amplitude Data (Beta) under the Enterprise trial plan. Has both the Taxonomy API and Govern Add On become the Tracking Plan functionality in Amplitude Data? Thank you in advance!
We’ve created a pathfinder chart to understand how our users navigate through a flow with many branches. The ideal view would be a pathfinder chart that only shows “page view” events to tell us which pages the user stepped through. We’ve come across two problems when implementing this: * The pathfinder allows a blacklist…
I am able to get a full list of the events via the taxonomy API , but I am wondering if it is possible to get the status (i.e. inactive or not) of an event via API? Thanks in advance!
Hi, I’m looking for help on setting up a new Amplitude project (through Segment) and I would like to run some of the ideas we have with you. CONTEXT We have 3 different web projects that are feeding into the same Amplitude project: A) Web app (Single page application). B) Docs pages and our C) Public website Events coming…
Does Amplitude have a setting to force the casing of all events and their properties to a preferred casing standard (i.e. lowercase)? This would be per Amplitude’s own Taxonomy recommendation. I recall being told that this is possible, but looking through documentation, I can’t find any reference to it.
