How do I filter event for only the times it was the entry event for a session? In other words, where it was the first event when the user landed on the site in that session? I can’t figure out how to do this.
Hello Cameron,
You could try using the Amplitude event “Start Session”, and then use the pathfinder to find out what would be the first occuring events. By clicking on the events following the Start Session, a bar chart should appear with the quantified amount of users (in “sequences”) triggering the selected steps. I’m not a specialist but I believe that this alternative is worth exploring. 😉You can then go into further detail by using the funnel analysis (starting with the Event Start Session, with exact order) and looking into the most occuring events. Hope I could help!
