Error running ampli pull and ampli status

Ampli has been running fine for the past few weeks, but suddenly last week when I ran ampli pull I received this error.

✘ ERROR An unexpected error occurred. Our team has been notified, but you can also reach us anytime at https://support.amplitude.com.

the commands that generate this error are:

pull
status
setup
source

All the other ampli commands are working.

When I went to reconfigure the course I received the same message after attempting to Select an SDK

? Select a platform Browser<br />? Select a language JavaScript<br />? Select a SDK @amplitude/analytics-browser@^1.0 (recommended)<br />✘ ERROR An unexpected error occurred. Our team has been notified, but you can also reach us anytime at https://support.amplitude.com.

There were no code changes made, or system changes. Do you have any advice on where I should start troubleshooting?
