Are you referring to the event category as seen above in Data/ Govern ?

AFAIK, event category is just a UI based categorization that you do on your events in Govern/Data section for easier organization of event types. I don’t think this gets tied on a raw event level.

I think you are right, when I set up the tracking plan, I would like to have that in the raw event as well, seems not possible
