Safe Access to Private Resource

Hello!
I would like to know what different options does Amplitude offer on how to access resources located in private networks (in our case would be the database). We usually access those resources via a VPN.
Which options do they offer for this cases?

Usually, the best way to safely handle private resources in Amplitude is to avoid sending sensitive information directly into events or user properties. Instead, use anonymized identifiers or internal IDs. Then, handle the mapping securely in your backend.
