I use data streaming to send Amplitude events to various marketing platforms, like Customer.io.
Things used to work as I’d expect: Amplitude automatically sent all event parameters for that event to Customer.io. A few months ago that stopped happening, and Amplitude only would send the event with no parameters.
Since we use the parameters to trigger different campaigns, I had to manually check event parameters under “send additional properties”, and each time we add a new event we need to go into Amplitude and check any new parameter to make sure it’s sent. The result of this is we are sending tons of empty event parameters for each event, the list of params we checked off in amplitude. Is there a way to go back to the old behavior of streaming all event parameters associated with an event to Customerio, but nothing else?
