I am trying to calculate retention only for users who came back to the app on day 1.
I have looked around the community and played with the settings on the retention dashboard but haven’t been able to find anything for making this work.
Is there a way to do this?

Thinking out loud here: I would probably go to your Day 1 in N-day retention, click on this data point and save these users as a cohort ‘Day 1 retained’ and then use this cohort of users for your future analysis by applying it as a user segment:
