Is it possible to edit existing Dashboard or Chart owned by another user? What are the limitation and possibilities.
As an Admin, i need to edit existing charts and save them to the same dashboard.

As an Admin, you have the ability to modify ownership for any content. You can add yourself as a co-owner to any chart/dashboard owned by another user as described here .
You can use also use the dashboard filters and save over the same dashboard as long as you are the owner/co-owner of the all the existing charts in that dashboard.
