Session Replay not showing any sessions

Session replays are not showing if sampling rate is set to 0 locally and enableRemoteconfig is true.

We are setting the sampling rate on amplitude to 100% but that doesn’t seem to work.

FYI: Works fine when sampling rate is set locally.

Hi Raghav,

It's important to note that the Session Replay sample rate set in the Amplitude UI takes precedence over the sample rate set in the SDK. This is designed to give you more control over the percentage of user sessions being captured directly from the Amplitude interface.

If you want to set the sample rate in the SDK, you can still do so. However, please note that this rate will be overridden by the rate set in the Amplitude UI if one is specified there. If you don't set a sample rate in the Amplitude UI, the rate set in the SDK will be used.

To set the sample rate in the Amplitude UI, navigate to the Session Replay settings page. Once there, click on the project name for which you want to adjust the sample rate. You should then be able to set the sample rate for that project.

Please note that it may take a few minutes for changes to take effect. For more information, you can refer to the Amplitude documentation on Session Replay settings: https://amplitude.com/docs/admin/account-management/account-settings#session-replay-settings

yea that’s what I am saying that when we set the sample rate to 100% on Amplitude UI, it doesn’t work .

We figured out that it is working on version 0.17.0 and below. But later versions don’t record sessions.
