I have an event, lets call it “FoodPurchased” that gets trigged on checkout. FoodPurchased has a property DishName.
How do I compare and see the number of times they’ve been triggered in a period. y axis is the frequency and x the property names?
You can do this using a Segmentation chart quintinpar. Select your FoodPurchased event then click Group By where you can select your DishName event property. In the resulting chart, change the chart type to Bar Chart and you’ll have what you need (in the data table below you’ll also be able to choose how many bars to show, maximum is 30).
Thank you. Very helpful.
Can these properties be renamed (shortname) in amplitude? Right now it shows up with namespaces and taking up a lot of space for each bar graph.
You can’t rename the raw data in the charts, but you can in the visualisation layer (i.e. directly in the bar chart). Hover over the labels and it’ll allow you to edit.
