I currently don’t have access to custom events.I was wondering if I can choose multiple eventsFor exampleI have current events that are being tracked and I want them to sit under an umbrellaThe Title should be Document ManagementEvents List would be:Document RegisterUpload DocumentLinking DocumentsEssentially I want to map every action that happens inside the Custom Event and then be able to filter for it on a Chart Report.Is this possible? As I understand in Data>Event the tags and categories are only internal.

My company just went through an acquisition/carve out and we need to import data from the current amplitude instance to a fresh one. The challenge I’m running into is how to handle the crazy amount of data. The json exports are far larger than the 20mb upload limits, and each month is hundreds of mb. We need to backfill a year of data. Has anyone reliably figured this out or have any tips? I would love if Amplitude could provide more assistance than just the data import articles. 

Hi everyone,I am trying to organize my Dashboard better. Created some subfolders that was not needed, but the action menu does not have a delete button (just Rename and Copy Link).How to delete subfolders in Amplitude? Is this due to my limited access?  

We're losing user journey tracking when anonymous users switch devices during our sign-up flow. Our typical flow: anonymous user visits homepage on desktop → clicks Sign Up → redirects to Auth0 for registration → user verifies email on mobile (creating a new anonymous user ID) → returns to desktop to complete sign-up and select subscription → receives authID upon conversion. The problem is that the final authID only captures events from the device where conversion occurred, losing all the valuable anonymous user behavior from earlier steps and other devices. We need a solution to stitch together the complete user journey across devices and maintain the connection between pre-conversion anonymous events and post-conversion authenticated user data, especially given our external Auth0 authentication flow that creates tracking gaps.

Does anyone else have this issue?

I recently switch authentication for the user exporting data from Amplitude to Snowflake from username password to key-pair authentication. I follow the instruction on screen, but every time I switch from pw to key-pair, the export fails with the following codeErrorsError Type: SnowflakeTime: Invalid DateTimeMessage: JWT token is invalid. [143cbb72-85dc-4e2c-8bc7-fef3a0d42fd4]The login to Snowflake succeeds (I checked the login history table there). Also, if I switch back to password auth it works as expected. Given the very small degree of customization allowed here, I don’t know what might be happening and how to solve this.

Inside the app, users are shown a country selector panel (e.g., Egypt, Turkey, UAE, etc.), which determines the localized experience they will receive — each country has its own UX flow and logic.The client wants to track users from Egypt and Turkey only.We considered using separate Amplitude projects for Egypt and Turkey as a way to isolate data between markets — but this is just one approach we’re evaluating, and we’re open to other suggestions if there are cleaner or more scalable alternatives.The challenge:The country selection occurs after the app is launched. Hey,when setting up the `enum` event property, is it possible to assign a different display value to each of the enum values?So let’s say my enum is defined like this enum property Character  “values” → character1, character2, character3  “display values” character1 = “Mickey Mouse”, character2 = “Johnny Bravo”, character3 = “Mandalorian” I’d like to use “display values” in the charts, instead of the IDs that are usually the non-user-friendly UUIDs.

I been using amplitude for a while for my Client Portal. I used to set user Ids as the ID I had in the DB. We also have UUID in the DB and want to use that for user id. How do I update all the existing User Ids with their UUIDs?

How would we go about using the API to list metadata on all available Spaces, Dashboards, Charts etc. in a given Amplitude instance? I do not see any documentation around such API endpoints, though I do see the app making graphQL calls to retrieve this internally (for instance - https://app.amplitude.com/t/graphql/org/12345?q=PaginatedSpaceItems). I’m unable to use those endpoints with the api_key:secret_key basic auth though. Are these accessible over a different auth mechanism? Any hints on this front would be much appreciated. 

Any idea how to troubleshoot this issue? I am trying to set up snowflake as an event destination, Everything works as expected until I get to the finish step of the integration. When I click “Finish” I get a non descriptive error message saying there was an error when trying to initiate the export. When I exit the flow, there is no destination set up in the destinations tab.

Now I want to improve amplitude usage for our project and I would like to use Ampli CLI for our app.  If I try to executeampli pullI get the next warningWARNING You have yet to create a source in your account. Log into https://data.amplitude.com/ to create one.But in our app we have one source React native SDK with name ReactNative. Connected.Please tell me, is it possible to use ampli cli for react native project or maybe something wrong?

I have installed Amplitude via Google Tag Manager and looks like the user ID is not being set. I have installed 2 tag from GTM.Tag type as init Tag type as setUserId  Still say Anonymous user

Hi, I was wondering how can I create an event to track “Loops” for the same event, meaning that the same event triggers within 5 minutes of the first.

Is there any way to reference the time of an event in a derived property formula? I am trying to create a derived property that calculates the difference in time between a date in a user property (the users account creation date) and the date of the event being measured. I have gotten it to work using the TODAY() function, but I can’t seem to find any way to reference the event time itself. Hi all, does anyone know how to remove “items” in Platform? Right now it is quite cluttered. We only would like to have e.g. (none), iOS, Android. Could not find that option in the UI.Could we try to delete the users that “had” those “platforms” and would that remove the items?

My understanding is if tracking user is EU resindency, we need to send endpoint for EU.But I cannot see the data of EU residency in dashboard or anywhere else.First of all, is my understanding is correct?Secound, if correct how can I check that?

I’m an admin and I want to manage the list of available teams (e.g., add, edit or remove teams)  but I cannot find how to in the new UI or the old UI. Currently, I’m stuck with the TEAM labels that we have.   

I have dev and prod Amplitude projects for both a web app and a mobile app. (4 projects)I see theres a way to import and export the schema between projects.The mobile app will use custom events to refine autocapture element interactions by their target accessibility identifer for easier use.   Web will use visual labeling.Is there a way to copy over custom events and labeled event definitions from one project (dev) to another (prod)?
