China data storage

Hi all, first post here.

My product team have been using Amplitude (and love it) for over a year now on our website. We’re in the process of rolling out a version into China.

We found this site: https://www.docs.developers.amplitude.com/data/dynamic-configuration/?h=dyna which looks promising, but it doesn’t talk to where any data is stored.

With a view to being compliant with China’s cyber security laws, could anyone confirm whether analytics data is still sent to the US with dynamic configuration setup?

Thanks for posting here @Adam H. By default, Amplitude stores data in the United States and the EU.

If you are concerned about complying with China's cybersecurity laws, I recommend contacting Amplitude's customer support or your success team directly for guidance on how to set up your account to comply with China's regulations. I’ll make sure this note gets to them as well.
