There is a website with Amplitude JS SDK installed. Hits are being sent to my custom server  and then redirected to the amplitude. To do so I’ve set ApiEndpoint parameter for init method. The thing is, when I fire a few events one by one, each hit contains data about the event it was fired by and all the previous events within current page load (if the page is reloaded it starts from the beginning again)For example, I fire the first event “Click button”, payload contains only data about this event. Then I click one more time, so “Click button” fires again. In this case payload contains info about the first “Click button” and the previous click and so on. If there are 50 events, last payload would contains all of them. What could be a cause of this issue? 

Hello! I’m using Amplitude HTTP API v2 for a WebGL project, where users are anonymous. The Amplitude documentation clearly states “Don't set the user ID if there isn't one.” So, I did that, but whenever I upload an event without a user ID I get this error: 400 Bad Request:{    "events_with_missing_fields": {        "device_id": [            0        ],        "user_id": [            0        ]    },    "code": 400,    "error": "Request missing required field"} So, then I tried to send an event with the user_id set to an empty string and got a different error (also happens if “null” is sent): 400 Bad Request:{    "code": 400,    "events_with_invalid_ids": {        "user_id": [            0        ]    },    "error": "Invalid id provided: omit the user_id or device_id field if they are unknown"} This is quite the conflict. The HTTP API v2 appears to be completely unable to ingest events that don’t contain a user ID. Could someone from the Amplitude team please fix this issue on the back-

Hi there,We are a SaaS B2B company, and as one, we have group of users that work for the same client (for instance 5 users all work for company A and using our platform).I want to see this 5 users who work for the same company, as 1 user. For example, I would love to do a Stickiness review, that will say “Company A”, and will tell me on how many days a user from company A has performed a certain event (this mean that even if it was a different user each day, this will show 100%). The “group by” doesn’t seem to work, as it show “the average among the users from company A”. Appreciate any help.Thanks.

Hello, I have an application on which sometimes, the sales team help a user to finish creating their account. They will thus set the password and everything, and then communicate the credentials on the phone to the user. I would like to understand the behavior of Amplitude id reconciliation between device_id and user_id on this specific case: User A (not registered yet) has its own device_id A guy from the sales team, with its own device_id, helps this user to finish creating his account. In parallel, this sales team guy will also help 5 other users. The sales team guy has the same device_id for each user (because he does not change his browser session each time) When sales team guy gave credentials to the user A, user A logins with his account and uses the app.In this scenario, how will Amplitude manage the IDs reconciliation ? Hello! I am using the Amplitude Unity SDK (latest version 2.4.0) for an Android project - specifically for Oculus Quest 2 VR. I'm getting a security vulnerability failure in the Oculus dashboard when I upload my build. It says "Unsafe HostnameVerifier Defined" (see image below). In Visual Studio I searched through my entire solution in C# and I don't see any mention of HostnameVerifier, so I don't understand how to fix this issue. My assumption is that the issue lies in a 3rd party SDK that accesses the internet, aka the Amplitude Unity SDK.Does anyone know how to fix this issue? This issue is currently halting the release of my team's app since it fails Oculus's security vulnerability test.  

Hi, We have Segment as one of our data sources with visual dashboards of DAU, WAU and MAU dating back two to three years ago. Does disconnecting Segment have any impact on pre-existing data?Also, can you export any data after the data source has been disconnected? Thank you!

I'm implementing Amplitude for the first time and I'm having a problem with the second event fired. Every time the following error appears: TypeError: Cannot convert undefined or null to object. The parameter sent is an object.Does anyone have an idea what the problem is?

Hello everyone! At my company, we are trying to connect attribution data from AppsFlyer (Our MMP) to Amplitude, so we can know which platform/campaign/ad/adset each user is coming from. But because of the privacy policies of some of the platforms like Facebook and Twitter for example, the installs show as organic on Amplitude. https://support.appsflyer.com/hc/en-us/articles/211200306-Amplitude-integration-with-AppsFlyer Any idea how we can fix that? I read about a work-around with the HTTP API, but would love to hear from you all.

Hey! why on the "search user" page we see the events for the last 1 day, but we don't see all the events for all time?   

I wonder if it is possible to remove the default Pageview event from amplitude. This Pageview event seems to fire each time the route is changed. We are using amplitude with angulartics2 and do page tracking with the pageTrack function.

Hi all,We’ve developed a mobile app for language learning based on React Native and Google Firebase (Realtime Database) as the user database. We’re using the Amplitude React Native SDK to pass information from the mobile app to Amplitude.We occasionally use Google Firebase’s A/B test feature to allocate users into groups to test certain features. To analyse the effectiveness of these features we set an Amplitude user property with the name of the A/B test and the values “true” / “false” to indicate which group the user is in. This allows us to create retention, conversion and other graphs where we can easily group by this user property or of course simply create two cohorts for which we specify the value of this property.However, there seems to be a problem with our data. We’re getting a lot of “(None)” values for this user property even though when we download detailed information about the users (click on a bar chart and then “Download Users”) we can see that most users have a “true”

Hi everyone, My system is RESTful API, we have developped a SPA (Single Page Application) that use these APIs and some users are calling directly our APIs without using the SPA. I don’t know where should I put the logging to Amplitude on the SPA or on the API?Should I log also the read operation or only the write operation? Thanks for your help!Johnny

Hello guys, I am simply trying to measure WAU along a month. Users that have logged in at least one time every week during the period of February for example. I have the proper event set up on the product. Is there any way for that? It leads to the same question for MAU as well.

Hi, I got a simple question here.  According to the definition, “Active user” refers to the user who occurs “active” event during the set time range, and “New user” refers to the user who logged an event first time during the set time range.So, I got a question how “Active user” and “New user” is defined in each time interval.For example, user A logged an “Sign Up” event first time on 3/1 and logged and “ViewProduct” event on 3/2. (both events are active)If I make an Event segmentation chart of Any active event during 3/1~3/7(daily) and select “New user” on the segment module, only 1 event(“Sign Up”, 3/1) will be occurred on the chart, right?Also, if I choose “Active User” on the segment module, only 1 event(“ViewProduct”, 3/2) will be occurred on the chart, right?However, as there are no exclusive meaning in the definition of “Active user”, I’m not sure if the event which is triggered by “New User” will be occurred on the chart if I choose “Active user” on the segment module.To wrap i

Hello! I just deleted a custom event. However, I want it back. I know that there is a way to undelete it, but it is not working…To put you in context, I am in:Govern > EventsI selected "Deleted" in the dropdown next to the search bar but then I see that the deleted event is not there… It says that latest deleted custom events were deleted a few weeks ago and by another co-worker…So… the question is… where is the custom event that I have deleted in order to undelete it?I'd really appreciate your helpThanks :)

When sending Cyrillic characters in the user properties, the characters lose their encoding and turn into incomprehensible characters.I use HTTP API V2 on WindowsString “Отважный тигр” becomes in ÐÑважнÑй ÐÑÑлAt the same time, there is no such problem with Latin characters and numbers.There is also no problem when sending Cyrillic through Unity SDK on Android and iOS 

I’m fairly new to Amplitude and feeling a bit lost.  Our website has a Sign Up button in our global navigation bar. I wish to track how many times the button is clicked on each page of our website to calculate the conversion rate for each page. Would anyone be able to help me out with this?
