Hi there, we have created multiple organisations by mistake when setting up Amplitude.  How can we delete them and start again from scratch?

This seems like a newb question but I’m getting confused between theory and practice here when it comes to Ampltiude Sessions. Here’s what’s I read from Amplitude Docs:For mobile, a session begins when the app is brought into the foreground; it ends when the app goes into the background and no events are fired for at least five minutes. All events sent within five minutes of each other are counted towards the current session. Note that you can define your own session expiration time by calling setMinTimeBetweenSessionsMillis(timeout) , where the timeout input is in milliseconds. On a browser, a session begins when the website is opened and the SDK is initialized; it ends when the last event is triggered. Web sessions time out after 30 minutes by default. All events fired within 30 minutes of each other are counted as part of the same session. Hello,I’m wondering on how was the Client Upload Time generated when we are sending our Amplitude event using the HTTP V2 API.If what I understand is correct, the time properties within the api is the Client Event Time. Here’s our Amplitude implementation setup:Event is collected through the client side (browser) with a local timestamp. This event is then sent to our backend server which then does some data transformation before sending it off to Amplitude through the HTTP V2 API.The problem we’re trying to solve:We’ve observed that quite a large number of our users has their local time set incorrectly. (ie. the example shown in the screenshot, the user is 5 hours behind the actual local time)

In recent weeks we are increasingly seeing the node js code that pulls events from the Export API failing with ESOCKETTIMEDOUT. The code calls the export API asynchronously once a day to retrieve 24 hours worth of events, leaving a gap of about 4 hours to try to get around the fact that the API will fail with a 404 if the final hour/s are not present. This is not listed as one of the errors that one might receive from the export API : It is as if the export API is rejecting the request, or that DNS is failing to resolve. However I can subsequently trigger the task manually and it runs without error.I did not think that this would be due to either missing data based on the time range requested or the data size, because these are supposed to return specific errors, and I have seen the 404 error on previous occasions (which is another thing: why can’t the APi just return the data that it actually has for the date range requested, even if it has nothing for only the final hour of the reque

Now it is impossible to send more than 2 events from the page, is there such a possibility at all or is there a limitation on sending events (no more than 2 from the page)?

Hey all!I’m trying to ingest data from snowflake into amplitude using what is shown here I’ve got Snowflake and Amplitude connected correctly but when I start the ingestion, it says it completed with no errors but no data is actually ingested. At first I thought it was because my user_ids probably isn’t in the correct format and/or I’m using the wrong user_id but I double checked and everything looks to be in order.​​​​​my sql is as followswith user_emails as (select user_id, user_email from users)select to_varchar( user_id ) as "user_id", object_construct('email', user_email) as "user_properties"from user_emailsI’ve checked that the user_ids in snowflake exist in amplitude, and they are there. Not really sure how to start troubleshooting this. Any thoughts?

Hello everyone!I'm currently trying to merge an identified user (e.g. User ID: 123) with an anonymous one, tracked through different applications and domains. If I know the User ID of the identified one and the Device ID of the anonymous one, we have a way to merge these two through the Identification APIHowever, the most reliable information I have is the IP address from the anonymous user. All the events in one of the project got deleted and we don’t see any event coming to the project. Can anyone help on the possible issue here. 

We are running an A/B test with our internal tool and notice a large quantity is being categorized in Amplitude as no variant assigned vs. with the variant assignment. If I look at the user path under the variant assignment as no, it shows a variant is assigned but is not showing up under the actual variant. Do you know what would cause this? Or how could we fix it to count under the actual variant?

Hey EveryoneIs there a way I can track users that visit our landing page and merge them with the tracking of users on our web app (on a subdomain)?Our landing page is on Webflow. When users sign up, they will go through an auth0 sign up page before getting redirected to our web app (on a subdomain url). I already have Amplitude working on webflow through the javascript sdk (so I can track visitors and UTM sources), and I also have working on our web app using backend server tracking through HTTP requests (to track actions on our product), but I can’t reconcile the two, and they seem to be getting created as separate IDs. I’ve tried following https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003135607#h_f717e48c-460c-4a17-abd7-102327673798 to set up cross domain tracking, but we can’t pass the device ID from webflow to our web app, because a user needs to sign up on a third party auth0 page in between.Are device IDs suppose to be automatically reconciled, or are we missing a setup (e.g. d

Hi, I have a segment library (2.0) added to my Vue JS app that is sending the data to Amplitude Actions destination.A magical thing happens with the new Amplitude Action destination - It sets the Session Id automagically :)Question 1: Once a user logs out in our web app, I’d like to force the session restart. I am not sure how to do it. The anonymous events are showing up in the User Lookup (eg. Viewed Login Page), but when I click on the anonymous ID, it shows their userID and doesn’t show any events from when they were anonymous (only after they are identified).

Hello ! I have a web app on which there are:Anonymous users that navigate without providing any information (all we have for Amplitude is the device_id) Users that gave their e-mail address to get things such as resources (PDFs, videos, ...) (we now have device_id and email) Logged users (we now have device_id and user_id) I know we can use the user_id to reconcile all device_id, but I have some additional questions: If the user connects on two different devices (and thus have two device_id aaaa and bbbb), will Amplitude reconcile the two device_id, as long as there is the user_id associated with both device_id? (I assume that’s the case, but I just wanted to make sure) Can I use the e-mail address to reconcile events? For example, if I have 10 events with only the device_id (= aaaa), and one event with email (example@gmail.com) + same device_id (aaaa), can the e-mail be used to reconcile the events having device_id aaaa? How can I define a Cohort to group people who have not done a particular event. For example we have an event that allows people to download a file, but I want to group the people who have not downloaded the file.Here, the event defined by us on Amplitude is “download_file”, but we want to group users who have not done the latter event.
