Background of chart:Using the Segmentation chart, I have a basic event that only triggers past the stage a user has authenticated and is identified. When I group by a user property (user_type), there is about 20-30% of users grouped as `none`.The problemWhen I download those users to CSV and see their user property in question, it’s set to a value and not actually `none` at all. (When I use the user look up tool, they’re also set.) Why does the chart show as none?Does anyone have any advice on how to trouble shoot and increase confidence in this data?Extra detailsScreenshots attached (CSV download of “none” users), chart results and query criteria. It’s consistent if I group by under the event on the user property or the global chart grouped by option.Screenshots.

We have a Segment - Amplitude events pipeline.Recently I found that the unique number of page views in Segment differs from Amplitude. Segment data:I take all page views and GROUP BY COALESCE(UserId, AnonymousId) Amplitude:Simply a segmentation by `Views` (Page event) + Unique users. The difference is about 20%, so I’m trying to figure out which value is correct, or how is the unique number is calculated?

Is anyone else seeing incorrectly formatted timestamps from the Export API? This is causing an error for a script I have that calls that API.The issue I’m seeing is that events roughly with a processed_time value that’s between 2022:05:27 01:02:50.047099 and 2022:05:27 11:28:48.569078 do not have that field in ISO-8601 format. Hello. I'm comparing amplitude data we get in snowflake vs what we see in amplitude web funnel analysis and we have more count of events in Snowflake. Why is this and is it possible to get a perfect match to amplitude web? I'm holding session id constant and doing the same in snowflake SQL.

code block which for unset user propertiesHello,I’m using @amplitude/react-native module in my project.I tried to unset user properties with using `unset()` function in Identify class.But, it doesn’t work at all although several times of test.Setting function works fine but it cannot be unset.Could you check this issue for me?Additionally, executing method chainly (ex - identify.unset(‘key1’).unset(‘key2’)) occurs error because unset and set method does not returning Identify class instance.If I using the API in wrong way. Hi All, In my application I will be exposing users to multiple Experiments. we want to figure out number of times a user gets exposed to more than 1 experiment, and when they do we want to figure out the different experiments that they were exposed to. As an extension we also might want to bring time/session into picture. Ex- If a user gets exposed to more than one experiment within the same session or within a fixed time intervalI(lets say 1 hour), we need to monitor that. Do we have a standard way to accomplish this?   

I use the following code in my Flutter app / Dart: Amplitude.getInstance().setUserId(userID, startNewSession: false); Amplitude.getInstance().logEvent(actionName, eventProperties: { 'pageName': pageName } );When I check the Event Stream, I see the pageName property as an Event Property.But when I attempt to create a chart to GroupBy page Name for a given actionName...I don’t have that option.

I am building a Flutter app and would like to instrument it with a Custom Action so I can send events to Amplitude.However, I haven’t seen an example of how to use the flutter-amplitude pub.dev package with a Flutter app in this way.I searched here and Stack overflow and haven’t been able to find an example.

We did a backfill of historical events in our segment <> amplitude connection a couple of days back.While I can see the event flow on the particular dates the data was backfilled, I do not see any events being populated. Am I missing something ? 

Hello,I would like to see all events happening on my device. I know there’s the option to see events for a particular user ID, but I don’t find how to do it for a device ID.I would like to do that in order to track offline events happening on my iOS mobile app.Thanks!

Hello Amplitude Hive Mind,  Wondering if there’s a way (or if it’s even recommended) to use Amplitude eventing to figure out what all the possible permutations in a custom list are? You know this type of list, it’s where you can add/remove headers in a list to create your own custom view (like in excel or any column/row type tool). Basically, we’re trying to figure out how we can understand what the most common custom fields in a list are for all of our users.  Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have a question regarding an issue we noticed with user being identified (user personal data, such us email, name, surname and phone number are visible under the userId) after he/she chooses to be opted out for analytics (data collection), as per the GDPR regulation the user has to have a possibility to choose to be opted in or opted out for analytics.Once user registers and chooses to be opted out for analytics, the anonymousId is generated and the user is not identified. If users decides to opt in for analytics, the userId is generated and user is identified (we have visibility on his personal data, such us email, name, surname and phone number...). After some time, if user chooses to be opted out, the user personal data is still visible, I am guessing that is because the amplitudeIds and deviceIds are being merged under one userId. is there a workaround, for the user personal data to be hidden or deleted after the users chooses to be opted out for data collection?

I am able to download the user data which has all default event properties tracked by amplitude like Country,language,ip_address. However this excel does not contain the custom event properties. Is there any way to download user data along with values of custom event properties for that event

When sending an event through the Javascript SDK in an application I am using I pass event properties into the sendEvent method. I can see the desired object on the request to Amplitude when it sends the event and the object it attached to the event_properties field on the request payload. However, the event properties are not appearing in the UI and I don’t know why. I saw them for a few events then they stopped all together. I haven’t changed the code regarding sending the event at all so I don’t know what’s happening. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, I’m looking for help on setting up a new Amplitude project (through Segment) and I would like to run some of the ideas we have with you. CONTEXTWe have 3 different web projects that are feeding into the same Amplitude project: A) Web app (Single page application). B) Docs pages and our C) Public websiteEvents coming from B and C are sometimes (usually) coming from the anonymous users until they sign up or login and then we identify them.There are many teams involved in the development (especially on the A) and up until now they had a lot of freedom instrumenting their events the way they felt like/needed. That gave us a lot of speed and agility, but it also produced the following problems:3000+ different events 2000+ different properties Sending events with little semantic meaning No descriptions of the events Sending events that should be properties (AB test shown OR DarkMode is on...) I’m using the Amplitude REST API and it seems like it only lets us query up to 365 days in the past. However, I would like to give “Lifetime” metrics for my customers and some of them are older than a year.https://developers.amplitude.com/docs/dashboard-rest-api#event-segmentation Is there a way to query longer in the past and if not is that a plan in the dev cycle?
