I know we can have snowflake to run SQL queries but can we have complex SQL that will used to generate a chart or number?Also, do we have flexibility to add UI controls (dropdown, label, etc) like we have in Google Data Studio?

I recently created a new company account using a company email address. I started out on amplitude.com, but soon realised I should have started at eu.amplitude.com.Since I now have two accounts, it seems it is not possible anymore to turn on Org Discovery, allowing anyone to join with a company email address for the EU account. Is there anything I can do to disable/remove the non EU account and turn on Org Discovery on the EU account?I did create a support ticket for this (#75277), but I am not sure how long it should normally take to receive answer on these, as it has been a week with no answer.

We’ve recently started using amplitude, and while I was comparing event counts to expected event counts for users with the javascript sdk, i’ve found quite a few instances where users are logging into my systems and performing events that should be recorded, but nothing is coming through on amplitude. The user should have multiple events as they’re traversing through our purchase funnel and completing a purchase, but not a single event was logged. Is there a logical explanation for this or something I should do to further investigate the cause of missing events? From the looks of at least some of the users (I haven’t done a full dive) were using Mobile Safari, but testing from my own phone’s browser it seems to be working on a similar version iOS / safari.

I work for a FinTech company and its very important that we are able to limit the dataset to only the users who need access to that specific data (e.g iOS team only access to the iOS data). Is there a way to setup this sort of access within Amplitude? I know I can setup permissions and roles but thats only really about creating reports whereas I want to limit access to certain parts of the data layer. I don’t want to create new projects either.

Greetings, There are two ways calculating the revenue or any event. First one is by install date. Let’s say if I installed the app on the 1st June and made my first purchase on the 15th June, my purchase will appear on the 1st June. Because it is grouped by my Install Date.If it is counted by Event Date, no matter when I have installed the app, my purchase will appear on the 15th June because purchase was made on that day and it is grouped by Event Date. My question is, how Amplitude count that data?I am not talking about Revenue LTV. It is about “Revenue” event which can be grouped by “$price". Sincerely and thanks!,Canay

We are having an issue with account-level tracking. Our product is similar to other products like Notion or Slack, where a user can be part of multiple workspaces, and has different permission levels in each of those workspaces. What we’re trying to accomplishEvery time a user does something in Workspace X, we want to track the event as belonging to Workspace X. When they do something in Workspace Y, we want to track the event as belonging to Workspace Y. The same goes for permissions: when a user does something as an Admin in Workspace X, we want the permission level to be a property of the event. And when they do something as a member of Workspace Y, we want the member permission to be a property of the event. The problemNormally, this would be easy - we would just call group whenever a user switches to a new workspace and call Identify whenever their permission level changes.  Hello,Here I have an event(linkDepositInProgress_screen_opened) that is fired when a successful deposit is made. In the last 7 days I have had 85 deposits, please see image below. When I add an event(deposit_started is a reliably fired event) that is an always fired as part of the flow to make a deposit I get much lower numbers. Please see image below.   linkDepositInProgress_screen_opened event   deposit_started event added and linkDepositInProgress_screen_opened numbers drop from 85 to 26. But I would expect the linkDepositInProgress_screen_opened events to stay at 85. Am I doing something wrong?  Also here are my other settings

Hi there,I’ve been using Amplitude for years but we’ve always had a hard time tracking successful user signups and relied on adjacent events to approximate it, like whether they’ve seen our onboarding page. However, there are many flows through which someone could sign up on our site and it would be better to have a clear event for signups. I’m wondering if there’s a popular pattern for accomplishing this?A few options I’ve thought of:Including a query param after the signup redirect like “?signup=true” and then detect this to trigger a “Signup Complete” event Pass down some sort of attribute from the backend if this is a new user and then use that to trigger a similar event Have new users go through some sort of /signup/success page that is only used for tracking (we do this for payments atm) Some sort of server-side tracking or event to populate Amplitude on the backend (I think this is possible in Mixpanel but I’ve never tried it with Amplitude?)I guess maybe a meta-question would b

Hi all, I have a chart that shows the rolling window of unique users in the last 30 days. If I then switch from the formula to the Uniques option in a bar chart the total number of unique visitors is suddenly 2 % higher than that of the rolling window of unique users in the last 30 days. Is there anybody that has seen this before and can explain to me why the Uniques bar chart in the last 30 days is showing a higher number than the rolling window of unique users in the last 30 days? Kind regards,Quint

Hi,We have a product that is connection flow with different steps. On each steps, the user can do an action and progress to achieve a connection successfully.We track events on each steps. We are now trying to understand how our users are successfully connecting thanks to this flow, and where they are dropping.Now, something doesn’t really make sense to me. We don’t know if we can rely on the data, or maybe I didn’t understand how funnels work:- the event “listing publish” shows 2 users,- if I move this event as a first step, the data change, it shows 136 users.But our users can’t access the last step if they don’t go through all the steps.My expectation would be to always see the same number, whatever the position of the event.Could you please explain what I might have missed?Thanks for your help!Alex

Amplitude​​​Segment I only joined Amplitude recently, and when I’m trying to integrate with Segment, there’s a blocker that I can’t solve.When creating a new project on Amplitude, I only receive a product API key. However, when I’m integrating with Segment, they requred me to input 2 keys, one API and one secret key.Am I missing something? Please kindly shed some lights.

 Hello,We are having problems in identifying traffic sources from UTMs, FBclid and Gclid. We set up Amplitude SDK in our digital asset with Google Tag Manager using Amplitude GTM Template.This is how we set up the initilization: We added the recommended option keys so we could track all the traffic. Despite of that, we are not getting any UTM from the gclid.As an example we can search for our page in Google. Then click in the ad and not getting any UTM data. But the gclid is being captured without problems. In this example from Google Analytics data in BigQuery, Gclid can be interpretated into UTMs but we’re not getting this information in Amplitude.As a results of this, when we analyze User Composition by Source, we can’t find Google on it and also any Campaign and Keyword data from Google and some from Facebook. 

Let’s assume that we have event X and Y, and we have users A and B that has both of the events. When user A do the event X, I want to increase the number of event Y’s in user B. Is it possible in any way? Can I change the other user’s properties?

Let’s say I trigger an event when a submit button is clicked, isn’t there a race condition between sending that event and the browser to unload the current page in order to navigate to the new one? In other words, it could happen that the form is submitted and the new page loaded before the event is completely sent, so it gets lost?Sorry in case I don’t see the forest for the trees here. It just seems like an obvious issue to me and I couldn’t find anything about it. I also couldn’t find any examples on how to code a button (or link) click listener, which would give me confidence. Hi there, New to this space so hello to everyone here! Wanted to check whether it’s possible to remove historically collected data, specifically a set of direct PHI identifiers that were saved as user properties (IP/Lat/Long) in Amplitude. ideally, would not want to delete all previously registered events from Amplitude but more so just the underlying properties that make it non-compliant at the moment. 

Hi All, I have a question regarding the Log out the user we want to log events under an anonymous user. Based on the explanation below, could you please let me know what will happen to Amplitude ID? As Amplitude ID is used to count unique users, I am bit worried that some users will be counted twice. “Log Out and Anonymous UsersA user's data will be merged on the backend so that any events up to that point from the same browser will be tracked under the same user. If a user logs out or you want to log the events under an anonymous user, you will need to: Set the userId to null. Regenerate a new deviceId. After doing that, events coming from the current user/device will appear as a brand new user in Amplitude. Note: If you choose to do this, you will not be able to see that the two users were using the same device.”Thanks. Mateja 

How to know the last page user visit before they visit a certain page view if there's no ?ref added to the page view URL?

Dear, I have created an account and an organisation for Amplitude, but unfortunately just realised it does not fit my needs and I would like to remove all data and info connected to my account and organisation.I could not find this option in the general settings of the organisation and read on the related topic “Delete organisation” that it is possible for the Amplitude Team to remove all data, by providing the organisation ID.
