Hello team,I’m struggling to understand why my setup doesn’t work.I have two domains: xxx.co & yyy.xxx.co I have Amplitude implemented on the two websites and the init options contain: “domain: .xxx.co”.When my users move from xxx.co to yyy.xxx.co, a new cookie, deviceId & userId is assigned to this user.NB: The two websites send the data in two different projects (but in the same workspace).Do you have an idea why this doesn’t work?Thanks in advance.

I’m trying to delete a user, but when I call the endpoint, the response header `Content-Type` is set to `text/html; charset=UTF-8`https://www.docs.developers.amplitude.com/analytics/apis/user-privacy-api/#delete-users The HTTP library I’m using in Java cannot figure out how to parse the response because it thinks its html when its actually json.

Does Amplitude provide webhook when any new user is added to the account? I have a custom use-case where I would want to show some content on top of Amplitude to the new users as soon as it gets added. 

Hi, if i create a cohort definition as following:contains ‘string_a’ not contains ‘string_a’should i expect there will be 0 users in this cohort?  

I have been trying to pass the segmentation filters in the retention API on ‘s’ parameter, but I am getting "Unable to create definition from arguments." error as response. We are passing multiple properties in filters as per the document given but it gives an error. Is there any way to pass multiple filters on the segmentation parameter in Retention  API. I have been passing the data like this:[{"prop":"userdata_cohort","op":"is not","values":["xxxyyy"]},{"prop":"New User","op":"greater or equal","values":["1"]}]The above has been URL encoded and passed as a value for ‘s’ parameter. 

hi,when I am creating a cohort, I am trying to setup the user property “experiment” with 2 conditions:select a version number (it is working fine) make a condition that user property “experiment” DOES NOT CONTAIN stings: (for example) string_a, string_bbut when I look into cohort individual user’s property “experiment”, either “string_a” or “string_b” is included in the property list…would “DOES NOT CONTAIN” clause not select users with “experiment” property containing both “string_a” or “string_b”? Bill

I’ve created a User Journey chart but the titles of each column are all the same.We are injecting an event every time a user transitions a page.The event is named ‘page_view’ and contains an event property page_location.My problem is that the column headings for each step show ‘page_view’ when I want them to show the value of the ‘page_location’ event property.How do I change the chart to show this. 

My first question for the community! Exciting. We label all our marketing traffic with utm parameters. Other than organic users (which comprises a small amount of our overall traffic mix), every click should have utm parameters attributed to them.However, I’m seeing some users coming in as undefined (for both initial and regular utm parameters.) I even found an instance where a user clearly came from specific utm sources, but showing up as undefined (assuming due to some Amplitude SkU user merger and took the undefined utm’s along with it.)My question is, what is undefined, is it something we can control on our end, and how can we stop this from happening? Thanks everyone for your input.   Cheers,Derek

How can I compile a report, etc. that shows me the list of mobile devices by volume of # of users with each phone? For example, I want to see a report that shows me how many of each model of Android device that our customers use, ranked by highest volume of devices to lowest volume? 

I’m trying to understand the different meanings of start events in retention graphs. When I select “Any event” instead of “New user” as my start event, my monthly bounded retention increases significantly. What does that mean? Am I now counting users twice, because in month three, I’m no longer just counting the users that did my return event three months after being new to my product, but also every user who did the return event three months after any other event they did before?

Hi everyone, We are using GTM and javascript SDK to track users on our web application but sometimes amplitude cannot track some users that we know they are in our database and valid users. Is there any way to users can block our tracking code in chrome or using something else? Do i need to consider margin of error while tracking users with GTM? Or is there a safer and more secure way to implement the tracking code?

Hello!Users have event XEvent X has property Y1. I need to take all users who have more than 5 events X per day2. Calculate the median of property YAnd I don't understand how in amplitude I can create a cohort of users who have >5 specific events each day in 30 day range.I hope for your help!

I want to send some custom user data to an event (e.g. first name)Right now I’m just setting the userId (setting it once, not on each event), so I do have an identifier for the event.Is there a way to associate custom data with the userId, or should I send this data on every event?

We are using Amplitude via segment events, in device mode. We integrated segment to our front end we pages, and write with JavaScript and angular.It seems that ad blockers are sometimes blocking xhr requests to api.amplitude.com. We see that amplitude.js bundle is downloaded, but it fails to send events to amplitude backend.We want to create proxy server for Amplitude, but we do not know how to configure the client side, as we have access to only analytics segment JS object, and not to amplitude object, or at least we do not know how to access the amplitude JS object. Is it possible to access amplitude JS object when using Amplitude in segment device mode?

We are trying to send Intercom message sent data into Amplitude. We have followed the instructions via Amplitude’s HTTP API.  When we send the event from Intercom’s API, we get a 200 response so we know it’s sending. However, the data is not found in Amplitude.  I’ve checked both the data.amplitude.com section as well as user lookups and event segmentation - its not thereExample event we’re sending, where we’re including user_id and device_id, as well as event_type. What are we doing wrong here? Why is the data not showing up in Amplitude? Hi Team,I have been using amplitude for a while but recently, i have faced an issue where there are some of the events that my engg. team deployed on the website are getting triggered but not registered on the charts. i can see those events logged in user look up but not in funnel and segmentation reports. Can you please advise on how to solve the issue?

Around the time the beta for the separate sections of the "Data" and "Analytics" was released to me (~June 24) I have been unable to create a new chart with the events that I normally use. I cannot see the events I'd like to use in the new "Data" section (data.amplitude.com) either.Additionally User Search when I search by our company’s user ID is not working, it seems to be trying to search the Amplitude ID.All existing charts still work for me (I can see the events I would like to use to make new charts with) and update as I'd expect. However if I try to make a new chart I am unable to search/find/select the events I'd like to use.Other members on my team don't seem to have the same problem. We've tried changing my role in the org . I’ve also tried in incognito and same issue so it seems to be tied to my account
