I ran some ads on Google, and now I would like to know what those users are doing on my platform.I have connected data sources with Google ads. In the user properties, I see three new properties-utm campaign uthm source utm mediumbut I see only ‘Daily ad metrics’ being logged when I use these filters.My idea is, when I create segmentations, funnels, I should be able to filter out users who are coming from Google ads.If anyone can help me, that will be great. TIA.

I am having an issue where my events show in the user feed but do not show or appear in the segmentation events option. It’s been about 4 days + since the event was created. So I am unable to 

Hello Everyone,  We have set up Amplitude for our in-app analytics and are using Branch as our MMP. We’ve run into a situation wherein the details of the users attributed to In-Mobi is not being pushed to Amplitude, while it’s working fine for other affiliates.  Connect with branch team for the same, got the know that the webhook is failing by returning 400 with a reason invalid_event_json. Can someone help me with the missing parameter in the webhook. I’ve also added the logs to this google sheet for reference.  Thanks,Advait 

So this seems like a simple question, but my team has had troubles understanding what is expected from an array as an Event Property and how to implement it in Android and iOS. Are we passing a JSON Array? Is it in a string structure and Amplitude will parse that? An example for both iOS and Android would be great here, since we’ve never been able to get it right according to the Data Dashboard. Also, from demos I’ve seen, the arrays will be parsed and broken down, so you’ll never see the array “[ ]” in any of the parameter values, is this what I should expected? If this is the case, is there a way to see the spread of array values without having to choose all different combinations of the array values?So in short, what does Amplitude expect, and what should we expect here? Thanks in advance.

Hello Everybody my question(s) is as followed :) Scenario let’s say a user lands on a landing page from an ad with all the UTM parameters in place and does the following: (please note that all the following are tracked with Segment) Page View(anonymous → tracked with Segment cloud Javascript Integration) on subdomainA Lead Submitted( identified →  on subdomainA ) server side segment cloud Page view (identified → subdomainB) javascript segment cloud checkout started (identified → subdomainB) javascript segment cloud order completed (identified → subdomainB) server side segment cloud meeting calendar viewed and booked (identified → subdomainB) server side segment cloud In addition to that, my session settings are that they are grouped together by session id. I noticed the following behavior for starters; that the client side events that were happening on subdomainA have the same session ID, and that the client side tracked events that happened on subdomainB are grouped by a seperate sess

In Data > Properties > User Properties, we are seeing User property names we implemented but we’re not seeing any data in those properties.We are sending the same property as an Event property and the value is showing up.Using the Node SDK from our backend.Scratching our heads. Hello,I’m working with a product team specializing in accounting software.One of the questions centers on invoice due dates. The team wants to know how many days in advance are users searching for invoices (e.g., searching for invoices due at the end of the month, 30 days before the due date, 15 days before the due date, etc.).There is an invoice due date picker (with a property for the due date), however, I think this approach could use some tweaking - any suggestions on what would be a better way to instrument the event/property would be most appreciated!

Im trying to import json from S3,S3 connection is success, but ingesion is giving 1 error all the time. and i could not see this source listing in events as well. Hi!  I’ve been trying to add Amplitude to our Unity game, but in order to correctly user Amplitude’s data, we need to be able to group user’s into groups. The Unity documentation says that it is a supported feature, but the SDK does not include any functions around this. I’ve also created an issue on the Unity SDK github: https://github.com/amplitude/unity-plugin/issues/110 This is pretty important to our company because since users pay at the organization level, so we need to see how features affect organizations as a whole, not just at the user-level.  Best,Kevin

Hello!When I press ‘Download Users’ in a chart, I get some limited data about user properties; in particular, I don’t get device_id which is shown in User Look-Up. Is there a chance to get it in a CSV file?  Thank you!

 I’d like to delete just one of the event properties that exists in multiple events. There is no option that allows me to delete just one of these event properties. The ‘delete’ option is only enabled when selecting ALL event properties.  How do I delete just ONE of these event properties without effecting the others?

Hi there! We recently started using Amplitude to collect usage data about our app. On the third day since launch, I ran into a weird issue where a 24-hour period in a segmentation line chart shows zero events, but only when it’s plotted for the past 7 days. Weird as it sounds, if I switch to 3 days, the void in that 24 hour just gets filled. I came back to this a few times today and it looks like the issue happens intermittently - sometimes it just works, sometimes it fails, and because of this unpredictability several of our metrics were disrupted quite a bit. Service status shows everything’s been normal for the past few days. I wonder what might be the cause for this?  

I need to create a derived property that functions as a quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4). Instead of January 1st through March 31st being Q1, I want it to be something like January 15th through April 8th is Q1. I could make that happen with an IF statement but I am having trouble in finding the right property to feed to the function that could process this calculation.The best I have found so far is the server upload time property, but I can’t seem to figure out the date format of that property in the analysis tool to be able to correctly calculate what I need. Do you know the format of it or a better way in which I could achieve the above?

Hello Everyone 🖐🏼.My name is Yvan, first time using Amplitude. I have a small issue while using the Amplitude SDK (Expo React Native). In fact, I've developed an app whereby Drivers can register orders from customers manually (By entering what they ordered, from which restaurant, ...), and can "simulate" their orders being processed until delivery.However, when using the SDK, I saw there that I can only track users as Drivers when they're trying to register orders (Since they're the ones who open the app). But is it possible instead to configure and send user records as customers to Amplitude ? So that instead of saying that: "A driver has registered an order from customer A", I can say "Customer A has placed this order", and then maybe, instead of saying: “The driver is trying to process orders from customer A, B and C”, we can instead say: “Customer A, B and C has their individual order being processed at some step” ? Thank you so much in advance 🙏🏼

Hello, I am trying to retrieve data using the segmentation endpoint, but I keep getting a 400 bad request error. We have an event named PUSH_NOTIFICATION/OPEN on our Amplitude, but it does not seem to work. I have also tried with the ce: prefix on the event type, but that also returns a 400 error. Below is the curl request, with authorization headers removed of course.curl --location -g --request GET 'https://amplitude.com/api/2/events/segmentation?e={"event_type":"PUSH_NOTIFICATION%2FOPEN"}&start=20220904&end=20220907&n=any'  Thanks!

I love to track interesting things beyond pageviews, screens, clicks and taps - very specific and detailed interactions that are revealing about how a user is using a product. Here are 3 of my favourite things I’ve tracking and why:Piano Key Played: in my piano tuition app, each time they played a key (or several) on their real piano I would track it and whether or not it was correct. Tracking audio events! App Screen Screenshotted: some years ago, to understand the screens in an app that a user was most keen to save or share. Not sure this is in line with data privacy anymore! Relationship Ended: bit sad maybe, but for a relationship app I work on we track when users report that their relationships end. Interesting to see (and try to predict) how long they will last!What’s your favourite from your product and why?

Hey all, We have a use case where we now have people using our application which aren’t paid users. They are invited by users to complete tasks but not a part of our paid user base.Is there a best practice way to deal with this pattern? I would expect we need to be setting a parameter for everyone and specify their user type but wonder if that is too clumsy.Thanks

I’m planning on adding a short onboarding survey to our app, with questions like “where did you hear from us”. As users are only asked these questions once, conceptually they would make sense as user properties. However, I’m a little worried of creating lots of user properties and spamming our data schema that way. Is there a way to group user properties? Or how else would you recommend storing these results?

Hello All,I facing a situation in which my events seems to be working fine using GTM Amplitude template, I tested them on GTM preview mode and Amplitude receives all events, I also validate the events using the Amplitude Chrome extension; but when I publish my GTM tags to production the amplitude tags doesn’t fire up. I already checked if there is some data block or deleted on data govern and there is no blocking. I know GTM is working fine because I also have Google Analytics implemented and all my events are been received by GA.Additional, I’m using next js as a frontend technology.Any idea?
