Hi! I have some trouble with data whice I recive from API. When I get data from Export API the data are unreadable or encoded. Response header contain Content-Type: application/zip.And it’s no matter how I get data use Postman or code. The response always the same.

I need to disable tracking the user PII such as the IP address, but the Flutter SDK does not seem to be exposing the trackingOptions object.Is there another way to disable tracking those properties? If it helps, we need to disable the tracking for the entire project, not per user.Thanks.

I am using GTM to instrument Amplitude and have an issue I think many of you have bumped into. I am trying to track a user across different domains by passing the deviceid in the url. However, I can't access the deviceid in the right amplitude instance from code in order to pass it in the url. I’m trying to add Google Ads as a source. I’ve added the Google Ads Customer ID and Google Ads Manager Account Customer ID per instructions, but got the below error. Which ID should we use? And why am I getting this error?   Appreciate your help!

Hi, I am looking for a way to export data to DWH about newly acquired users via API. I need to export the User ID and Amplitude ID of each newly acquired user. In order to calculate key metrics and attribution in my own database, I need to export data about the first user event and its properties (utm_sourse, utm_medium, etc...). What is the best way to do this?   

Hello amplitude community 🖐🏻I am using this package "@amplitude/analytics-browser": "^1.5.3" in my project but when send an event and go to check the user-properties I find that Longitude and Latitude doesn't tracked by default my question is is it tracked by default or need to be enabled ?

Hi all!Amplitude newbie here so hoping to learn from someone who has done this before. We're trying to implement cross-(sub)domain tracking between our marketing site (think example.com) and web app (think portal.example.com). Right now we have Amplitude on both sites but the user histories are not stitched together, as if Amplitude can’t merge the IDs.We are following the steps in the documentation https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003135607#h_f717e48c-460c-4a17-abd7-102327673798 but on step 2 we cannot use URL parameters because of the nature of the experience, only third party cookies would be viable. How can we implement a third party cookie that sends the device ID to the portal site so that, even if time passes between user visits the marketing sites and then converts, we can track it? I have 2 custom events called asset_download_started and asset_download_completed, they both share a property between them called assetId, asset_download_started has a property called entryName that the other event does not have and asset_download_completed has a property called downloadTime that the other event does not have. So, just to recap, both events share assetId one of them has entryName and the other one has downloadTime. Now what I want to do is to join this events, just like you would on traditional SQL, on assetId so that I can make a chart where I can display the average downloadTime grouped by entryName.Can I do this in amplitude? If so how? All of the things i’ve tried so far have not worked.

We merge user sessions after successful registration. However, our analytics report shows incorrect segmentation by the initial UTM.  (“Signed up” user event has no initial_utm, but after merging sessions, the user has initial UTM)For example, user 10041 is in NONE group for Signed up event, even he has initial_utm_source set up.How can this be fixed?   

I was able to add Google Tag Manager as a data source. I have added one PageView tag. Do I need to add custom tags for every event we want to track? Also, will this connector get us the web data similar to how we see in GA? I’d appreciate your help!

I’ve been trying to get the Amplitude Chrome Extension to work, but haven’t been successful. I’ve tried reinstalling, restarting everything, changing the different privacy settings, etc… but can’t seem to get it working. I’m on a Mac with the latest OS (Monterey) and using the latest Chrome version.  Please help!

Hello,We are sending events to Amplitude using the Androis/ios sdk, and from time to time we also send events from our server. I have noticed that the server evets do not get integrated into the user sessions.My expectation is that server events (with session_id = -1) will be merged into the correct session based on the event time.Is that possible?Attached is a screenshot of a sample event stream with the issue:  

In the new Browser SDK to set multiple user properties we need to call .set() method multiple times … is it possible that we directly pass the user properties object.

Instead of calling clearUserProperties.clearAll() can we pass any option in init method to clear old user properties.

Hi,We are facing some issues for certain events to show up in Analytics or Data. Almost all events go through just fine, however, certain events do not show up anywhere. I have debugged the SDK (we are using https://github.com/zumba/amplitude-php) and call to https://api.amplitude.com/httpapi is returning 200 and response body success.No error requests in Ingestion Debugger at all  No Drop/Block filters are configured  All Schema Settings are set to “Mark as unexpected”Are there any other places events can be filtered/blocked?

I am encountering an issue with the Amplitude API where I have noticed that some events contain segmentation data that is not present in the event list. Specifically, when querying the event list with the following Axios query:{ url: "events/list", } the event with the ID '56773164' is not included in the result. However, when querying the segmentation data with the following Axios query:{ url: "events/segmentation", params: { e: { event_type: "_all", group_by: [ { type: "user", value: "event_type", }, ], }, start: "20230320T00", end: "20230320T00", m: "uniques", limit: 1000, }, } the ID of the event can be found under seriesLabels in the response. What could be the cause of this discrepancy?

Hi team! I checked that the event ID is triggered sequentially when users execute 1 event to another event. The defintion that you posted here is that Event ID. A counter distinguishing events. Event IDs are associated with the device ID. https://help.amplitude.com/hc/en-us/articles/204620508-Helpful-definitions#:~:text=Event%20ID,associated%20with%20the%20device%20IDBut somehow, I checked that even in 1 exact device ID, it could have the same event ID which equals to 1 (event ID = 1). What other things that can lead to this condition? Is it because of different session id? different device type? What variables that affect changes of event ID? 

Hi,I have set up recurring syncs of your Amplitude event data to BigQuery through the Amplitude UI. It all works really well except that i found a lot of duplicated events (identical event_id with identical amplitude_id).
