Hey everyone!We recently started using Amplitude (on the Free Starter plan) for our company however I’ve already hit a bit of a snag. Some of our users, including myself, are no longer being tracked “Users & Sessions”, hence I can’t QA the journey against the events I’d like to track in my plan.The weird part is, we used to see tracking data for these users up until a couple of weeks ago, but now it’s as if they’ve vanished from any browser they use. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas on what might be causing it and how to fix it?Thanks a ton for your help! 😊

USING CHROMEMy user, for example, is not creating any events - it's like the Amplitude tracking doesnt exist. I can see this in the Amplitude extension and in Amplitude live events. My user just never appears when I'm using a normal tab.BUT if I do the same in an anonymous tab and login in my platform, then my user is tracked.  I don't understand if this is related to cookies, but it shouldn't be. My trackings always work in the Amplitude websites and in the other platform that I used to work on.  Why is this now working? I'm afraid I'm missing other users' trackings. Like, this is literally happening, because a client sent me a screenshot of their screen when they were using our product, but they werent showing in the Amplitude events. But again, I can't understand why some doesn't work. I can see events being generated for some users, but I know for sure that we are not tracking all of them.

Hey folks, I’m running into an issue where I can’t correctly conditionally add/remove the session replay plug in. We have a series of the following events:A new anonymous user lands on our website We set utm params and other user properties They make a purchase Server side registers the purchase and creates a user with userId. At this point in nodejs we pass the userId to amplitude identity and we send a “purchase event” to amplitude from the server. After that, client side receives the userId and amplitude web sdk also sets userIdThe problem that we run into is on step 5 the amplitude user that is attached to the “purchase event” is missing the utm and other properties that we set on step 1. My understanding is that it happens because amplitude only merges the user ids on step 6 and on step 5 amplitude knows nothing about a user with “userId” hence no fields. Question: What is the best way to make sure the “purchase event” has all the properties of the initial anonymous users? How do we tell amplitude nodejs sdk that we are dealing with a specific anonymous user?Seems like we need to pass deviceI

Hello guys,I just see all events logged in simulator but prod users missing onboarding events logged..Does anyone have any idea why we might be losing some events? Thanks.Murat

Our events have stopped logging since May 29th.The problem:- We've been using amplitude for a week and event tracking has been working (data ingestion & live events look good).- 2 days ago, our data ingestion and live events have basically reduced to 0 (our database is showing users captured hence how we see the discrepancy in analytics).- See screenshot below from May 29th onwards:- We haven't made any code changes related to tracking.

Hello!Our app uses Apple’s original transaction identifier as the user ID, which is set either when the receipt is validated on the device (which is immediately after a purchase) or possibly via the App Store notification.We’re running into problems in a subset of our users where part of that subset seems to only have server side app store notification purchase history events, and some users never have a server event attributed to them, just the client side events. It seems likely to me that they just aren’t being merged correctly, although the originalTransactionId should be the same between both (and static, as per Apple docs).I found a help page here that suggests that setting the user ID on the server side can be problematic, which we think might happen if Apple sends us the notification (and we send an event to Amplitude) before the client receives the receipt and calls setUserId.The result is that while we still get all the purchase history, that large subset of users is a myster

Hello,I’m working on client side windows application and I wanted to use Amplitude for analytics.The application is written on C# and I didn’t found SDK for it. So, I have decided to use HTTP v2 API to send events from the application. For some reason Region and Country fields in all events I send that way are empty. Could someone help me understand how to fix it? Is there some setting in Amplitude to enable automatic population of Country/Region?

And I follow https://github.com/amplitude/Amplitude-TypeScript/tree/main/examples/browser/next-app to set up.But recently, error `Amplitude Logger [Error]: Failed to fetch` always happen everyday, and fail to track this user on the amplitude platform.So I have checked our sentry project, to find out the details, like below:In our codes, I set userId which was given by our backend.```amplitude.setUserId(data?.data?.result?.userId);```The weird point is, some userIds happened those error. But the others worked well.   Do your have any clues about the error like these?

Okay, so, I’m trying the easiest and simplest integration ever, just to test if it works. Here’s my code.For some reason, this is not working at all. Not even the “start” is recognized, and of course no events are being tracked. The thing is I just copy pasted this exact code onto the sample app, only changing the context for application context, and the button being an XML and not a composable one.Can you give me a hint on what may be happening?Note: Permissions on manifest are also set, of course  

Why has the filter "Last 0 complete days and today" stopped functioning as expected when it worked correctly in the past?

We’re on a Next.js application and for some reason Amplitude does not work on deployed sites. The httpapi events do not show up at all under “Network.” There is no error anywhere, and the “Amplitude Event Explorer” plugin does not register anything. The same Amplitude projects ingest data from my local environment, which is the exact same codebase, just fine. Has anyone run into anything similar?On local, I get these requests and data is ingested as expected. On deployed sites these are simply missing. 

I am on the Startup Plan and trying to use the Profile API feature. But get the response: Org does not have access to the Profile API feature. Is there a way to enable that API?

Hi there, I connected Amplitude SDK to our website via GTM. I read that Autocapture is enabled by default. However, when i go to Data tab, i’m not seeing the Element Clicked event which looks like it should be available by default (based from the video)image from AmplitudeI only have the following 5 events. How do I enable this Element Clicked event through GTM or without code? Looking forward to any assistance

We pay for and initialized session replay, but aren’t seeing any events come in. What could it be? 

Last topics was 2 years ago, so I`m not sure is there some changes?Is it mandatory to migrate to EU if company located in EU(France)? Read here in community both statements(yes and no) but it was two years ago, is there some legal practice or practical experience? Hi.  I have gotten the session replay to work successfully on some pages that we want to record.  The recording is a single recording of the pages the users traverses through.The issue I am having is that if we use the same set of pages in an iframe the recording are split into a single recording for each page.I can’t find a way to make Amplitude understand that the recording of the pages should still be a single recording even if framed within an iframe.  I have been unable to find a way to work around this issue.Does anyone have a way to make this work correctly.Thanks.

Hi, I’m a beginner at AmplitudeI would like to ask about the event “Page Viewed” provided basically.I have an issue in the ‘Page Viewed’ event property - ‘Page Title’.When I move the page, some page titles are lagged, for example, when I click page A and then move to B, the page location is changed from A to B but the page title represents the title of A page.In the source code, the title of the page is B.Is there anybody who has a problem like this?  I found out it is okay when every page has its own path.

Hi all! We’re a facing a challenge: we’d love to measure the resolution time of booking requests per customers but don’t know how to bind booking IDs to events.For this we plan to measure 2 major events - when the request_made and request_resolved.One user can have multiple booking request. Each booking request has a Booking ID. In order to measure booking request resoltuion time, we’re thinking of binding Booking ID somehow to these events - but I wondered : is that possible?Can we bind IDs to events? Or is there any other suggestion how to measure such thing?We’d love to make sure that we properly measure the resolution time per user.Thanks for any suggestion! 🙇🏼‍♀️ 

Hi folks! Reading the documentation on the User Privacy API it's clear that it's possible to delete user data as well as all events related to the user . Would it be possible to delete only user data but keep all events?
