I want to calculate my retention by device ID. how do I do that?

I haven’t seen Amplitude support retention by device ID in the chart UI. It’s either by user id or your group/account id ( if you have that instrumented ).
Moreover, measuring retention by device ID can come with caveats since they can be reset if it’s a mobile app or/and if the app assigns a new device ID after each install. This can impact your retention numbers quite a bit.
