What is the best alternative for measuring bouncerate on Amplitude?

Hey everybody im new here!I use Amplitude to measure how my A/B-test experiments are doing and one of the goals that I have for one of these A/B-tests is decreasing the bouncerate. I use now any active event as goal, but I’m not 100% sure if this is the right event to use. Since i’m not sure if an exit is also considered as an (active?) event. Anybody can help me with this?

Tooltip displays an Incomplete information

Why is it that when I enter text with Thai amplitude, the information is show incomplete?Round #1: enter Enter only English informationResult: show complete informationAmplitude Result:Original information:Round #2: enter Enter only Thai information Result: show incomplete information Amplitude Result:Original information:Note: If entering English and Thai information, it still doesn't show complete information.

Retention report - number of users on the graph and in the view menu do not match

Hi!While analyzing the retention report, I came across different data in the same report:1. Retention report says that there are 1,58% of users who came back on 26 day.The numbers of users at cohort is 1005, so there should be 1005*1,58%=16 users who returned at day 262. If i click at “view users” at day 26, i can see that there is only 3 users which is not the same as 16 at the previous bulletIf i download a CSV of that users and calculate retention, the number of returned users at d26 is 4 which is 0,32% from number of users at cohort (1232). Also number of users at cohort is different from the number on chart (1005 and 1232) Which data is correct? If I’m analyzing that report in incorrect way, tell me which one is correct. Thank you!

Full list of country anywhere?

Hi, I have a rather simple question.Is there a full list of country names used on Amplitude somewhere?I want to map country names to ISO3166 country codes but some country names on Amplitude are different to the ones in ISO-3166. For instance, ‘Myanmar’ is the name in ISO-3166, but Amplitude uses ‘Myanmar (Burma)’. So it would be really helpful if there’s a full list of Amplitude specific country names. Do we have such?

amplitude is not working when adblocker is enabled

i am getting this error in console ..GET https://cdn.amplitude.com/libs/amplitude-8.17.0-min.gz.js net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT also i am able to send events to dashboard since the. ad-blocker extension is enabled, how do i make amplitude work when ad-blocker is enabled ?

Querying OS Version

I would like to separate my users Android 5 and lower vs Android 6 and higher. Is there an easy way to do this in Amplitude?I tried to put “OS < Android 6” but when I broke it down in my User Composition it came up with all sorts of OS’s, including Android 10 and 11, so I know that doesn’t work. Is there something similar to Session Start where you can do a < or > comparison?

Question on "This order - any order" in the funnel analysis

Hey everyone, I’d appreciate your help! Trying to wrap my head around the difference between any order and this order in the funnel analysis in case of just two events.Based on the definition I expect the CR to be the same for the one-step funnel as there are no combinations other than Event A → Event B, but the result is different

Hi, Guys. We have a event. Get the specific value of all attributes of an event. This event has many properties including search term, color, model, etc.I want to know the specific value of each attribute under this event for each user. For example, 99% of users have a black color and a brandId of 1

Account level analysis

Hi everyone, our customers represent companies with N users that in Amplitude we can see in the Accounts plugin. Every company we have appears with Group Name and Group Id.We want to do some simple analysis on account level where in each analysis we’d treat a company (group) as an individual user where if one user within the company does something we consider it. Here are some examplesNew Accounts signups on weekly bases Percentage of accounts who did an action X (where at least one user in the account did an action) Funnel conversion rates on account level (where at least 1 user in the account did the steps of the funnel) Segmentation of accounts by number of users registered, by our custom account propertiesI am not sure how to do those things in the Segmentation, Funnel or Retention modules ? Is any of the points possible in Amplitude at the moment or the analysis is limited to individual users within each account separately? Best regardsLuka

How do I interpret the results from "any order" in a funnel analysis? Seems to be an issue with the count of the first event.

Problem descriptionI have a funnel consisting of three events, A,B and C. Consider the case where we have 100k events of A in a period of time. The funnel with “this order” specified will look something like this:Step                |          A              |               B                    |                CNum events.   |   100 000          | 90 000 (90% of prev)   | 72 000 (80% of prev, 72% of initial)Now, when I change the order to “any event”, I get something like this:Step                |          A              |               B                    |                CNum events.   |   150 000          | 142 500 (95% of prev) | 128 250 (90% of prev, 86% of initial)My first question is how the num events for A in the last funnel can be higher than 100k, when we only have 100k events for A in the first place?My second question is how to read the numbers on event B and C in the last funnel. Is it correct to assume:- 142 500 times, event A and B was in sequence, either A first or

How to group events by day of week?

I want to show the average or unique value of an event in the last 90 days, but grouped by day of the week. So I can see which days have more-less activity on that specific event.Is this possible?

Can I only include events done within a repeated time frame?

I am wanting to look at events done within certain time windows every week. (We’re a church and I’m looking for events done within a certain time frame every week.) Is it possible to look for event that only happen on Sundays from 10-11 and 11:30-12:30?

PROPMAX

I’m looking for a formula that I would think would be called PROPMAX. Where PROPSUM gives you the sum of that property across all users and PROPAVG gives you the average value of the property per event, I want the maximum value of the property recorded on the event.There must surely be a simple way to do this…?

[Dashboard API] Refresh the results from an existing chart

Hello.I use dashboard api to get the data in a chart in my amplitude workplace. One chart displays weekly active users, but when I access the chart using dashboard rest api, it did not refresh the data. Mostly, it sends the same set of data for more than two hours.Is there any way to refresh the data set when I call the api? Always thanks for you help.

I set a property "timeUsed" to track user's duration on a specific page. Does Amplitude support to accumulate the duration for a unique user?

Hi team,I need to know a unique user’s duration on a specific page. I have an event track a unique user opening the page and used the property “timeUsed” to track the duration. There is a case that one unique user may open, close, open, close the same page multiple times, and I’d like to know the accumulated time of this unique user spent on this page. Just curious if Amplitude support this use case?

Get the Max Value of a property for each user

I have an event that fires each time a user visits my page that indicates their progress on a specific set of tasks (ie have they completed 1 task, 2 tasks, etc). This has created some problems for me since I am dealing with a duplicate data issue.I want to create a bar chart where the x axis would be the number of tasks completed, and y axis the number of users who completed that number of tasks, but I would like each user to only appear once, whatever their max number of tasks is (as this is actually the number of tasks the user has completed). Is this something I can do with the formula option?

Recommendations for tackling multi-touch attribution?

Hi there, Our media team uses a MTA model for assessing campaign performance. I’d love to be able to use Amplitude to visualize this, but not sure if there’s a great way for me to do so. We fire an event called Landing Page View each time a new session is initialized on the web. We can set a user property, Medium, upon the initial Landing Page View that reflects the utm_medium in the URL. For subsequent Landing Page Views performed by that user, I can append the additional utm_medium values to the Medium user property, creating an array of values.This is where I get stuck because I would want to see the different combinations of Medium values that a user has at Purchase. My desired out come would be something like this - Purchase event, grouped by the user property Medium:[‘Email’] - 20 // 20 users just had Email as the Medium at Purchase. Email gets 100% of the credit for 20 sales.[‘Email’, ‘Email’, ‘Display’] - 5 // 5 users had Email twice and display once as the Medium at Purchase.
