Hi, I am working on a compass chart and having a difficult time to understand when and how to use this offset feature. Does someone have experiences using this feature?

Great question!
The offset feature allows you to “offset” dates from today, while also avoiding setting a static time window.
A great use case of it is for example in funnels: If your average conversion window is, for example, 7 days, you wouldn’t want to have users in the funnel that appeared as new 3 days ago as they can still convert in the following days.
The same mechanism applies to Compass, although if and how to use it depends on which users your selecting and what cohort you are predicting for.
