User filter not working as expected

I am currently trying to filter out any test data or internal user data from our dashboards, but they continue to appear in our charts no matter how explicitly I try to filter them out. In this case, I am simply trying to understand our daily active users minus the users with a UserID containing part of the 3 strings listed in the segmentation window. 

 

However, despite this I continue to see users with these IDs included in our chart.

Here are some posts which address similar issues -

 

The common theme here is that “Amplitude is an event-based platform, which means that events are logged with the event properties and the user properties present at the time the event was fired”.
