How to send historical data to a new project
Hey there,
thanks for writing in, happy to assist you with this!
I would use our Export API to download data from the old project and then complete a self backfill using our instructions here.
Consider keeping historical data in a separate Amplitude project without backfilling it into a live production project.
Keeping historical data separate makes the upload easier, and it keeps your live Amplitude data clean and focused on current and future data.
