Hey everyone - I wanted to take some time to go over the categories that are currently present in the Amplitude Community. We’ve set these up so you can more easily discover content or post your questions in the correct places for faster answers. No worries if you don’t get it right—our community team will moderate content and ensure it’s in the right place. 


Here’s an overview of the categories:


Welcome to the Amplitude Community - best practices for how to make the most out of our community.

  • Using the community - This contains all the information a new member of the Amplitude Community needs to get started. Here you’ll find our Getting Started guide, Terms and Conditions of using the community, and a place where users are encouraged to introduce themselves to the Amplitude Community. 

  • Announcements - News, updates, and things we as an Amplitude team want to share with you and the rest of the community.


Using Amplitude - this section covers a wide range of topics, from using and understanding Amplitude charts to instrumentation and data management. Ask questions and share ideas with other community members.

  • Instrumentation and Data Management - learn, ask questions, or help others with Amplitude SDKs, APIs, extracting and sending data to Amplitude, and how to manage data in Amplitude. From time to time, we may have members of our Engineering team provide updates to hear from you.

  • Building and Sharing your Analysis - learn, ask questions, or help others with the features that help build analyses in Amplitude!

  • Audiences - ask questions about our self-serve personalization engine for marketing and product teams.

  • Experiment - enable your teams to modify and configure product experiences for unique audiences remotely.

  • Data (Beta) - explore planning and tracking to run on clean and consistent analytics by eliminating human error during the instrumentation process.


Product Updates - our Product Marketing team will post release notes highlighting new Amplitude features. We recommend our community members subscribe to this section to stay updated on new ways they can use Amplitude. As you start using these new features, you can then leverage the community to ask questions as they come up!
